The original UK one is quite funny. Not sure I could bring myself to watch an Aussie version though.

I hate the show, but get the goss.
The producer knowing Matt is a mad Hawk approached him Monday before the GF, asking whether they could film them watching game live.
As an MCC member Matt goes every year, so said no.
No amount of coercing would change his mind.
Matt being the salesman he is suggested that they film them watching the replay on Sunday, pretending it was live.
The producer agreed. I asked Matt whether he'd ever watched the 2012 games again, he said no, it'd hurt too much. I asked him what would happen if we lost. He said he's a great actor.
Luckily we won.

Was on last week. Didn't watch it

I do recall watching an episode in series 1, they were watching an African doco. The camera just showed apes rooting, Matt came on and said he could watch this all day.
I text him immediately telling him he'd just told Australia that he liked watching animals rooting.
He text me back telling me to stop texting as they filming the next week's show. I text him about 30 times in a row after that. He turned his phone off

Justin Theroux is pretty awesome. I've never wanted a group of characters to find happiness as much as the cast of The Leftovers. :rainbow:

After Duritz and Shawt talked it up here I decided to give it another try last night thinking that maybe I was missing something, nup it's still shit.
