They actually had a guy from one of these places on SEN one day, and he said the normal treatment cost about $2500.

Not everyone has that much spare cash lying around to spend on hair treatment.

They have tablets for just about everything these days, surely they can make some tablets that will cause hair re-growth. It can't be that hard for the pharmasutical types to create.

Having a badly receeding hairline at 22 isn't the best thing in the world, I'd love a full head of hair.

$2500 I would part with in not a seconds thought if it meant from going bald to having hair.

I've frequently been shaving my head since i was little - 17+ years on and over the last 2 years i've noticed it takes a little longer to grow back and thinner as time goes on. Kinda disappointed about it especially since my dad didn't start balding until he was 48 (looks like a UFO crop circle on his head now :D), but thats life.


When my hair grows back to when i've shaved it off, people barely notice, its when my hair is in the middle of growing back, people comment on my plight. Even when it is back to its thick state, if i do an attempt at slicking it back (think Jason Dunstall's early 90's hairdo) it looks dodgy.
 
Yep, shaving it off is the way to go. If you do that people won't notice you don't have any hair. :confused:

Mate of mine got barred from a bar in Acland St St Kilda after he walked in there one day, noted all the shaved heads and said, "I've just walked into a room full of foetuses."
 
A full head of lush hair that grows way too fast here. My Dad is 64 and has all his hair so I am hopeful. Used to be pretty paranoid about it though.

The point I am making is that not everyone has that kind of money to spend on hair treatment.

There are a lot more important things to spend $2500 for some people.

If you've got the money, sure go for it. If you don't, then you don't have much choice.

My grandpas got number 3 but i reckon i will get number 1. Not really noticeable to anyone but me yet though.
 
Guerra's regrowth was unbelievable, I didn't think that kind of regrowth was possible.

It is in my future, my Dad is 60 and has all his hair but my grand dad started loosing his in his 50's.

So I believe it's just a matter of time, hopefully some time off. But if it started soon there is no way I would be going down without a fight.

But if you wanna know what you are going to look like... Have a look at your mothers father. If he is bald or balding ;) Your in trouble unless you like the chrome dome..
 
My friend got advanced hair cost him like, 2.5 k first up plus another 2.5 k a year to keep it going. R I P O F F. It's worked though. Just get a number 0 and grow a goatee and look 'ard. chicks still love that shit.
