Here's my two-bob and it's not going to be particularly popular but anyway..
The BiB before the number panel was the best on the AFL. It is a strong design that we should have stuck with. When we put the number panel on for the Showdowns I thought ohhhh great here we go then they brought the number panel in as a permanent thing on the home guernsey
The number panel is a link to the Magpies/PBs but that is in the past, whether we like it or not, and we need to look to the future because living in the past isn't going to win us the 2018 AFL Premiership!!
I get the significance of the PBs and I think they look great but we weren't allowed to wear them in the AFL in 1997 and had to add teal (and silver) to the black and white. I think we need to keep working on building a strong identity in the AFL to rival that of PA in the SANFL and going back to the original BiB is a step in the right direction.
