I've been to Adelaide a few times on school trips but never to the Oval, no.

Ah cool. You’re in for a treat! I think the oval is great and provides a very good game day experience. It has a different feel to the MCG or Etihad, mainly because of the open end, but I think you’ll enjoy it nonetheless.

In terms of seating, you should be fine anywhere in the ground. Crows fans are generally welcoming to opposition fans (obviously I can’t speak for them all) so you shouldn’t have to worry there. If you’d prefer to sit with fellow Collingwood fans, they sit behind the Northern Goals (hill end, bay 146), but personally I think level 2 in the Riverbank stand is the best view in the place and provides shelter.
