New look Gold Coast ready for 2010

Speak of The Devils
The re-branding of the club to the Gold Coast Devils was the first sign that big changes were on the way in a busy off-season for the 2009 preliminary finalist. Gold Coast coach, sausageroll, was never all that happy with the branding as the "Crocs" when he took over late in the 2008 season and when the right logo presented itself the change was immediately made.
"Let's face it, the Croc branding was nothing but a croc of sh..." was all sausageroll was able to say before the team CEO interrupted and quickly changed the topic to the list changes since the end of the season.

Devils' advocates
(2010 playing list additions)
The off-season saw massive changes to the playing list from 2009 as 24 new players will have the honour of wearing the Devils guernsey in 2010. A key forward was a priority with the loss of Lucas who left a hole at CHF for most of 2009 and the signing of Dockers star Matthew Pavlich to join Brown was a major coup. The forward line was further strengthened by the signing of Brad Green, Mitch Morton, Ricky Petterd, Justin Sherman, Mark Williams, Michael Still and Austin Wonaeamirri, many of who have the flexibility of playing in the midfield with gun recruits Sam Mitchell and Chance Bateman who will be looking to have a big season after a disappointing 2009.
Adelaide young gun Andy Otten, breakout players Dean Polo, SD Thompson and Nick Smith and young prospects Mitch Farmer and Chris Hall all add depth to an already strong backline that boasts names like Lake, Gilbee, Krakouer, Blake, Thornton and Malceski.
Young ruckman Ben McEvoy took very promising steps last year and looks set to breakout and joins Vickery and Hille in the ruck division.
Young draftees Lewis Jetta, Christian Howard and Jason Tutt look to have big futures while mature age draftees Kyle Hardingham, Marcus Marigliani and Simon White will be looking to make their mark early in 2010.

2010 - The Year Of The Devils
Making the preliminary final in 2009 was admirable but massively disappointing. The Devils have traded heavily and added depth and class in most areas and will be happy with nothing less than the 2010 premiership. Our list has improved and if David Hille can come back strong and Tyrone Vickery and Ben McEvoy can continue to improve we will be very difficult to beat. Our depth was well and truly tested last year and performed admirably but cost us some key games. This year our starting 22 is better and our depth is much stronger.
Opposition teams beware! Your 2010 will be Hell on Earth!

Anyone can be traded.
Any reasonable deal will be considered.

Any player can be traded. I'm looking mostly for high picks (upgrades ok).
But I'll look at player for player swaps too.

Same go as before. Looking to trade one or more players for picks or pick upgrades.
Anyone can be traded.
