40 touches today. Feels like he’s been a massive beneficiary of Greenwood’s injury. Wonder if his recent form means they’re more likely to hold onto him. He’s certainly jacking his price up week by week

Personally think GC should keep the pick.
They just need to get games into that pick, Hollands, Flanders, Anderson, Rowell and hope Lukosius and Rankine improve on 2021.

Yeah sounds like no player or club is offering a fair trade for pick 5 so we’ll go for Gisbus

Suns should offer 5 and 2022 1st for Max King. I'm sure he'd love to play with his brother.

40 touches is great news for a Supercoach score. It does not necessarily mean great value to an AFL team.

Unlike some footy fans, I do not think AFL clubs determine a players value by his fantasy scores.

Fiorini got a game due to injuries, he is doing his best, but he is still not best 22 at Gold Coast.

Good luck to him but he still has limitations.

Na, would still trade for the right price personally.

Yeah, I think his impact is minimal on the game. Doesn't kick a lot of goals, isn't a clearance machine, and doesn't lay a lot of tackles. Got 41 touches, but watching the game, he didn't have the impact that someone like Sharp and his 30 had on the contest. He had a good game, but not spectacular (though he also wasn't alone in that).

Great to see him playing well. Both for him to put himself in the shop window for potential suitors and may see his value rise and GC might get some return on him.

Clearly getting 40 touches takes skill otherwise everyone would do it.

Bit like Jenkins copped it for getting Joe the goose goals... so why doesn't every fwd do it and avg 2.x goals for their career? It takes a special skillset

41 disposals from 71% ToG no less.

14 contested disposals for the most for GC and third most on the ground. Absolutely laughable that it is suggested that this guy doesn't have the physiology or whatever to play inside mid, and is an "outside player". His numbers stack up the same with similar onballers in the comp. Has averaged 12 contested disposals a game since he came back into the team full-time against Richmond; never dropping below 10.

He is the same player and just as good a player as Parish (don't rate him very highly either tbh - they're both just B-grade players who specialise in being high accumulators), but he is hidden away on the Gold Coast, and coached by a fat maniac who thinks Jarryd Lyons, Jack Scrimshaw and Aaron Hall aren't fit for the grade.

Will Brodie is another one who he has starved away in the 2s whose ceiling is lightyears ahead of the worst kicker in the game in Luke Dunstan who is apparently being targeted to fill what would be the same role. Guy (Dew) has the worst talent identification for a coach in the comp.

WCE 2021 1st (around 12) plus Brander for #5?
Throw in your 2022 first or swap Brander for someone in your starting 22 and you can start to have a conversation.

TBH, GC don't need draft picks, they'd probably rather have Tom Barrass or Oscar Allen for pick 5 but then why would WC do that deal given where they are at?

Brody Mihocek for Pick 5?

If CCJ wants to get to GC and they want him, I would be desperate to include pick 5 somehow.

Maybe the Tigers pick 16 ish and CCJ for pick 5?

Maybe the Tigers Pick 8-10 and CCJ for Pick 5 and pick 24?
It would be either 19 or 24, no way you'll get 5 for CCJ.

Where can we sign?
No me. He is not KPF. Who would he replace? We have a Corbett in a similar role and Jeffrey will join soon. By the way, even Sexton has basically the same averages as Mihocek except marks.
Obviously not on his own. But I think say PIck 8 and CCJ for pick 5 and 24 is pretty fair.
It depends how desperately Tigers want pick 5 and if Suns are willing to downgrade to pick 9 (Tigers pick at the moment) which they may not be. Also what is CCJ value? I am pretty sure that AFL will take away pick 19. Pick 24 is probably more than fair value for CCJ especially considering he is not best 22 and played only 5 games. I like his mongrel but he is still mostly potential.

So for me it would be pick 9 and CCJ for pick 5.

If I am generous I chip in also pick 43. On points that would be 1469 (pick 9) + 785 (CCJ, value pick 24) = 2254 vs 1878 (pick 5) + 378 (pick 43) =2256.

Just as a interest, here is the deal Port made to upgrade by one pick to get Rozee.
The Lions will exchange Mayes and Pick No. 5 at this year’s AFL Draft in return for Pick No. 6, 35 and a future third round selection (Fremantle's on traded to Port Adelaide).

So you get CCJ for a 4 pick upgrade to us? HahahhahaahhahaahahahahaahhaahahahaahahhahahahahhahahahahahhahahhhaahhahahaHahahhahaahhahaahahahahaahhaahahahaahahhahahahahhahahahahahhahahhhaahhahahaHahahhahaahhahaahahahahaahhaahahahaahahhahahahahhahahahahahhahahhhaahhahahaHahahhahaahhahaahahahahaahhaahahahaahahhahahahahhahahahahahhahahhhaahhahahaHahahhahaahhahaahahahahaahhaahahahaahahhahahahahhahahahahahhahahhhaahhahahaHahahhahaahhahaahahahahaahhaahahahaahahhahahahahhahahahahahhahahhhaahhahaha

If you guys think he can partner King for the next 10 years an offer that, then you deserve to irrelevant until you fold. Gimme a spell.

How about just pick 19 then? Seems about the same.

GC and Richmond have done a few drama-free trades in recent times. If CCJ wants to go there I'm sure a fair deal will get done.

Regarding swapping first rounders, it would depend on who GC want in the draft I suspect. If it's Gibsus, which seems likely and they think he will still be there at Richmond's pick, maybe they do that deal.

As I said pick 24 is probably the value of CCJ IMHO. If you don't like upgrade scenario to pick 5 (including pick 43) go for pick 24 alone. Or just convince CCJ to stay.

Its GC chasing him, not us shopping him. so its you guys that need to trump up, not us.

Not really. If CCJ decides to leave he will nominate the club and then you have to deal with the club. It's not like you got unlimited power in the negotiation then.

So I assume pick 24 in under in your eyes. You think Tigers would not accept pick 24 and let CCJ go to PSD?

By the way I doubt he would go to Suns. I did not hear anything suggesting he is interested in moving up to GC.
