Fair calls
My sporting experiences up there lead me to believe that by and large its more social to attend sporting fixtures than die-hards who bleeed .
Swans games. I remember the yuppies with picninc hampers and blankets on the hill like it was an Adelaide Test Match ....until the Mexican cheer squads and their sympathisers reminded them that it wasn't.
Rugby League..depends on where you go or went....Parra v C'Bury at the Belmore Sports Ground was certainly "social" occassion....North Sydney Oval on the other hand...use to have a brass band from one of the local Private Schools playing "Teddy Bear's Picnic" among other just as intimidating fight songs during the game...
