No umpires or suspensions , don't like that either what if you have a Hall / Staker thing happen..

Tempers will still fly during those matches , think with so little covid cases they should at least have umpires (who could be tested the day before)
They'll probably just end up umpired by an assistant coach from each side or something.

A few notes from the reserves match.
  • Rory Thompson did not play. He sat near the boundary and watched the game. It was either Jacob Dawson or Anthony Miles sitting next to him (with heavy strapping on one of his legs) watching on with him. Thompson didn't appear to be injured at all and walked around freely at times. Possibly a late emergency for tonight's game?
  • Jack Hombsch and Caleb Graham were playing as the key defenders for us. Hombsch spent extended periods playing undersized on Tom Hickey who the Eagles decided to throw in full forward for a decent patch of the game.
  • Jesse Joyce and Jez McLennan were playing as medium/small defenders for us.
  • Peter Wright was played in the forward line (predominately) and Zac Smith spent most of the game in the ruck.
  • Brodie was playing inside midfield. I believe Schoenfeld played on the wing.
  • Initially only Matthew Conroy was playing for the Eagles (as a forward) but eventually other players like Patrick Murtagh and Chris Burgess found their way into a West Coast jumper. A few awkward moments for those guys who joined the Eagles huddles between quarters.
  • Some of our guys began doing sprints once the game ended which probably indicates they didn't run far/hard enough during the game.
  • No idea which team won, who played well or who kicked the goals so don't bother asking.

No you need a drone to watch it

Can you show us your drone footage lol

we could end up playing Brisbane for 3 months straight?!

surey not.

There’s no other option as their limiting numbers flying to games on the chartered flights.. for us and Brisbane once the hubs finish it’ll end up like the Sydney teams this weekend both flying to Melbourne yesterday and flying home tonight after the swans game

Again no comments on Rosas. What's the go with him?
Corbett 6 goals.

Send a tweet to Whiting.
He might be inclined to do some journalistic work on the front.

Good write up really. Sounds like Wright, Lemmens, Corbett, Joyce, Brodie, Rankine are the next cabs of the rank

Remember that Whiting isn't employed anymore, so he can't attend press conferences or anything like that. Going to be just as hard for him as it is for the rest of us to find out stuff.

Unless he has contacts still in there ready to spill.

He’s started a subscriber news feed on patreon where he’s going to write stories on suns and lions so he must still have access to some information otherwise would be wasting his time
