Watched this live.

Joel jeffrey fantastic. Was a swingman in his draft year and looked like he could be jeremy howe in the seniors.

Jed anderson deserves promotion too.

Bodhi Uwland developing really well.

I would say playing 7 academy kids also had impact.

Academy kids were not too bad TBH. Few skill errors / poor decisions, but a big step up from club / U19 rep footy. Great to see 3 of the boys kicking majors too.

Strong breeze was behind the Sharks in the last quarter and they just kept coming. Very, very lucky to hang on for the win.

Lads will be disappointed with how we’re playing in this first quarter. Making the most of opportunities, but not getting anywhere near enough. Can’t seem to get the easy, free-flowing game they usually like to play.

Yeah, pretty poor first quarter. Drummo will be wanting a lot better than in the second quarter.

We’re still as efficient as ever when going inside 50.

Just not getting forward enough. Feels like their mids are on top at the moment.

Looks like Brock is playing forward a bit today. Definitely moving players around to develop them.

It’s a good contest. A bit sloppy in the first (and so far in the 3rd) in terms of a contested game.

But Suns are very efficient going forward. Also had a dominant second quarter where it was a landslide of goals and possession. If Suns get on the outside and can take the corridor, they look very good.

GCFC leads Werribee 12.9.81 to 8.4.52 at 3/4 time.

Wow. Two free kicks have turned the game.

But Suns would be disappointed with this quarter so far. Opposition well on top around the ground.

Honestly, Suns look gassed. Getting run off their feet (even before the umpires did their thing). Like last week, if we win it will be off one blistering quarter.

Well, Suns deserve to lose this one. Terrible second half for a second week in a row.

Should be better than this.
