I'm just rapt we kept him and Wellingham during trade week.

Both were mooted as potential bait but we retained them.

The Sack will be fine. His flexibility allows us to use him in a variety of roles.

IMO he is in our best 25.

But I also hope he has an awesome year next year (and Ball does as well) to shove it up the Saints.

I think Ball is about 60% chance of being available to us at pick 30.

I pooped my pants opening this thread thinking something bad had happened to the sack! He will be a regular next year, and I agree, they will be ruing not having him, when they have spuds like Raph, Blake and Dawson

We offered Sack plus 30, yet they would have settled for Everitt.

The Aints really need to watch some footy, because Sack alone is better than Everitt!

Worst case scenario, we've just upped our pick from 30 to 29 and kept Sack who had a good finish to the year.

I agree what I've seen of everitt he isn't any better then moneybags. Yeah he played well against us but what about the other 40 games he showed and did nothing

I reckon Goldy is in for a good year next year and have it on good authority he is being moulded for a more attacking role.

As for as the whole ball thing there is two things I hope for next year other than a premiership. Goldsack to have a BOG performance against the saints and Ball to have a BOG performance against the saints for whatever club he ends up at.

All very possible. Throw in afew injuries, and the Saints start to look very average.
