Seeing this is a Ryder Cup year, for a bit of fun, what about selecting a team from the USA made up of the greatest players ever to come from that country versus its European counterparts.

The selection process is as follows:

-2 captains; 1 to represent the US, the other Europe.
-10 players from each team.
-2 captain picks.

Funnily enough the Presidents Cup All-Time team would probably go better than team Europe imo.

Presidents Cup XII:

Gary Player
Peter Thompson
Bobby Locke
Greg Norman
Adam Scott
Jason Day
Ernie Els
Vijay Singh
Roberto Di Vicnezo
Nick Price

Captains Picks:

Retief Goosen
Angel Cabrera

Although I'd probably fit Ogilvy in there, 2 x winner of the WGC matchplay and another runner up at that tournament. He's a great matchplay golfer. A lot of unlucky ones as well, Mike Weir was another.

If Europe and the USA are tied at 9-9 heading into the singles matches on the final day, do the respective captains put the big guns in first in the hope of getting early points on the board, or hold them back until later in the day with the outcome of the Ryder Cup hanging in the balance?
