These players will be gone at the end of the year.

- Brett Peake
- Stephen Dodd
- Kepler Bradley
- Dean Solomon

They join

- Adam Campbell
- Ryan Murphy
- Daniel Gilmore
- Josh Head

8 players dumped. Drum probably doesnt get another gig either, but if he does he is better than Campbell, Murphy or Bradley so there is an upside.

Drum was good, and I reckon Kepler is going to stay !
Dodd, Grover, Schammer, Peake were very average today as senior players.
Ibbotson needs to grow a heart !

I'd keep Bradley and definitly Drum but would add to the people that are gone our perpetually injured list:

- Andrew Browne
- Andrew Foster
- Brock O'Brien

Out of those I would keep at most one and thank the others for their heart. Personally I'd keep BOB.

That's one hell of a turn over again! Luckily we've got some good replacements on the rookielist. What would be our chances of enticing some young depth players from other clubs into the PSD? Looks like we'll have enough picks for it.

Ibbo had another average game today and Schammer looked slow (especially against Davey!) Hase did ok, but I wonder if he'll get his two year contract.

If I had to pick the delisted ones:
- Browne
- Foster
- Campbell
- Murphy
- Gilmore
- Head
- Peake
- Soloman

- Brett Peake Not sure, one more season I reckon
- Stephen Dodd Yes, he could go
- Kepler Bradley Absolute spud, don't need him
- Dean Solomon One more season for the veteran

They join

- Adam Campbell Of course
- Ryan Murphy No doubt
- Daniel Gilmore Absolutely
- Josh Head May aswell

Yup.

Same old thread started after the same old performances about the same old players..... week after week after week....

Why we didnt play Walters instead in those conditions is beyond me,....

Gone
Dodd - Cant defend and burns us the other way.
Campbell - Spud
Gilmore - Spud
Head - Spud
Browne - Spud
Obrien - Spud

Maybe Gone/ hope go
Headland
Grover

Dodd has been ok for the last few weeks but today he really showed why he has to go.

Bradley should stay and Drum has definitely shown a bit in his two games. Two more weeks to determine whether he stays or goes.

The others have been done to death. This lot are out of contract at the end of the year, are also not AFL level and would be the most obvious candidates. That is 7 straight away.

Browne
Head
Gilmore
Foster
Peake
Campbell
Dodd

Solomon also is out of contact and I would think will retire, or not offered another contract. That's 8. I'd say as the simplest solution it would be not a bad one.

The next three may be saved by their contract status though I would happily pay out Murphy.

Thornton - 2010
Murphy - 2010
Grover - 2010

Grover may retire. If he does, there's 9. If Murphy is paid out, that's 10.

In a way who we keep is shuffling deckchairs on the titanic. Which of the god-awful, non-AFL capable, clanger kings do we keep? Who cares. SO longer as we get rid of most of them.

NAMES MENTIONED SO FAR....

Dodd - I'd keep. Not best 22, but depth player
Campbell - goneski
Murphy - Offered as trade, if anyone offers anything - TAKE IT. Otherwise delist
Gilmore - delist
Drum - Sign for 1 year, but also open to offers for trade
Head - goneski
Browne - goneski
O'Brien - goneski
Headland - would sign for 1 year
Solomon - would sign for 1 year
Grover - is contracted, depth player
Thornton - is contracted, depth player
Foster - would sign for 1 year
Peake - Offer as trade, if anyone offers anything, TAKE IT. Otherwise delist
Bradley - would sign for 1 year, depth player
Hinkley - Would offer as a trade

ROOKIES...

Connelly - delist
Pratt - delist & attempt to redraft as rookie, otherwise byebye
Broughton - to senior list
Pearce - keep on rookie list
Van Berlo - keep on rookie list
Sibasado - keep on rookie list
DeBoer - to senior list
Shepherad - keep on rookie list

I'd keep Brock O'Brien for sure. He is still only 21. I know he is out for this season with injury but I reckon hang on to him.

I'd keep Brock O'Brien for sure. He is still only 21. I know he is out for this season with injury but I reckon hang on to him.

Why?

He has had 3 years, shown little when in the side, was given a one year contract at the start of the year, at best he'll get a rookie spot.

I'd keep Brock O'Brien for sure. He is still only 21. I know he is out for this season with injury but I reckon hang on to him.

What role will be play and is he ahead of these players?

Duffield
Broughton
Pearce
Pratt
Hayden
Soloman
Suban

or

Palmer
Schammer
Ibbotson
Hill
Haselby
Hinkley
Crowley
(Draft pick. Trengrove/Morobito/Lucas)

Adding his injuries troubles I would rather:

A) Delist and re-rookie him. Pearce or Van Berlo takes his senior spot.
B) Delist and draft a KP mature age recruit in his place.

Those who are saying that Dodd will be gone have no idea. Sure we might ALL like him to be gone as he is of the dumb arse brigade, however the fact the he has played every (or close to?) game this year shows that he is in the plans for the future.

He has only played 2 matches. Was brought into the side last game in 2007 when a whole heap of players got dropped for going out drinking. His debut game was pretty good as I recall.

I can't remember his 2nd game.

I think at 21 he is worth holding on to. If he can get over his injuries and have a good preseason he is the sort of player that can have an impact immediately.

BoB's second game was an absolute shocker, where he almost lost it for us off his own boot. I think it was against Melbourne. (We did lose it, it just wan't entirely his fault)
