Mostly good call. TJ/Grimes the only real exception.

Should I get a hair cut?

Nathan Carroll should never get a haircut.

Jamar will get a 1 month + injury during the year and our entire midfield will derail.

Melbourne hold the record for most mediocore trading in the 00's (Holland, Ellis, Vardy etc.).
Bad call. Although it was forced, I'd say Carlton have that honour. Paying over the odds for Chris Judd and Brock McLean only just pushes them ahead of us.

you guys are forgetting Freo. they've never come out on top in a trade

1999
Troy Cook for selection #34
Brendon Fewster for selection #16
Troy Longmuir for selections #19 and #63

2000
Peter Bell (who was previously on their list) for Jess Sinclair and selections #6, 8 & 37

2001 (this is where it starts to get good)
Trent Croad with McPharlin for selections #1, #20 and #36
Jeff Farmer for selection #17
Troy Simmonds for Daniel Bandy

2002
Des Headland for Adam McPhee, selections #3 & 19

2004
Josh Carr from Port Adelaide for selections #11, #27 and # 45.

2006
Dean Solomon plus draft selection #52 for draft selections #42 and #47

Thank god somebody else posted the Freo Hall of Shame. Exactly what I was about to do.

Given that we gave up pick 56 (59 after priorities) for Vardy and Adelaide drafted Jacob Schuback (who?) with it, I'm not sure he could be described as a mediocre get even if he did spend half his time with us injured. The other half was pretty good.

bad call... was much better by foot last week against richmond so as he gets use to the pace of the game is just going to get better...

warnock is our 4th best tall defender and once garland frawls and riv are all firing he will be back in the 2s...

Bad call. The warlock puts up some good D down back. He has also scored rather well in the last 2 b&f's I'd think we would find a way to play him.

Jordan gysberts will suprise alot of Melbourne fans when they work out he was choosen at pick 11 for a reason, not a laugh.

Jamar will get a 1 month + injury during the year and our entire midfield will derail.

Good call. We are completely f.kd without Jamar. We will end up paying huge $$ on a 3+ year contract to keep him away from GC17.

Melbourne FC will be pushed to play home games at the Dome if attendances dont increase within a few years?..

Bad call, the new administration are well aware the MCG is our home ground and generally a lot of our supporters won't go to the dome for some reason, the crowds would be even lower. Our crowds aren't really that bad considering how shit we've been, and all the bandwagoners will be jumping on in the next couple of years anyway.

Will Jack Grimes finish top 3 in the B'n'F this year?

Good call, although he'd have to maintain this run. At the moment he'd be in the top 3.

Lynden Dunn will find himself a permanent forward role and kick a reasonable 25 goals for the year.

Bad call. I still feel Bailey will want to use him as a pinch hitting ruckman/extra midfielder, he will also get some tagging jobs. Unfortunately this will mean the stints he spends forward won't be long enough to settle or kick 25 goals. But I do hope I'm wrong.

At the end of Round 22, the dropped Petterd mark against Collingwood will be the difference between finishing 9th as opposed to 8th.

Bad Call. It will be the difference between finishing 4th or 5th :D
But seriously, I hope not!

Jack Trengove will get the rising star nom this week.

Good call. I might be biased call, but v. good call :D

Jurrah will kick 5 in his first game back.

Good Call I suppose. Only because I've got a feeling about it. Don't expect him too.

Sam Blease should play at least 10 games this year, even if we need to fast-track him slightly

good call. he should play 10 games this year. but he won't, he will play as many games as his form warrants

The Queens birthday match will be a sell out

Good call. If our good form continues, then I expect a lot of people to come along who otherwise wouldn't, particularly if the weather is decent.

Addam Maric won't make it at AFL level.

Bad Call

Will take a while longer than we hoped, but he should make it

Jamie Bennell>Wonna?

Both Collingwood and the Demons could win every game from now on and it wouldn't sellout.

Good call re. Bennell vs Wonna. I hope that Wonna can get back to his best and then improve on it but Bennell has more pace, agility and is a better mark. Wonna has better skills though.

We won't lose any player of worth to the Gold Coast (Miller has no worth).

Good call. Bailey seems keen on playing 1.5 ruckmen (Jamar + pinch hitter), and even if he reverts back to two ruckmen, Spencer and Johnson are probably ahead of Meesen at this stage.
