I agree jod23 - Harding has never done much for me in terms of playing aggressively and skill level, while Metro always seemed to be 100% committed and willing to have a crack.
Metro also had an administration position with us - why would he also give this up? I hope he didnt have a fall out with the club

Metro did have a falling out, but it actually wasn't the coach, it was someone on the board, but i don't know who so he asked to be traded definately, so he may go for someone else today, he wants yo stay in WA though so the Dockers may look at someone else. I too want him to stay, he is one of the best defenders we have, and can even play attack if necessary. AND WHAT IS THIS WITH EVERY EAGLE FAN HATING KEN JUDGE, GIVE HIM A BREAK, HE'S ONLY HAD ONE YEAR AT A CLUB THAT WASN'T EXACTLY GOING UP, I THINK THEY WOULD HAVE FINISHED LOWER, NO-ONE IS BLAMING MICK FOR COLLINGWOODS BAD YEAR, I THINK THEY SHOULD HAVE DONE MUCH BETTER.

We are probably relating some of the things that happened at hawthorn when Kenny boy was there. He did some good work in recruiting but isn't that what recruiters are for ? Why Isn't he a recruiter not a coach ?
At hawthorn he went from defending the players for having a 'go' but not quite good enough to blaming anybody for any problems.
At West coast he seems to have gone straight to blaming the players.
Anyway thanks westcoast for taking him off our hands.

It took him half the season to start referring to 'we', instead of 'they' in the post match press conferences. Not a good sign.
I can't stand him, and haven't since he was at Hawthorn. He hasn't managed our players well his year, which combined with the the fact he over-trained them preseason, has compounded our injury problems. Off field, he doesn't get on with the players, and has some just plain wrong coaching tactics. He seems to believe humiliating players is a form of motivation. It seems to me that successful coaches are either liked by their team (Wallace), or respected (MM, Sheeds....) KJ is neither.
And the most worrying thing so far is the people that are leaving. Mitchell White, Danny Metropolis and assistant coach Chris Waterman. He (Muddy) hasn't ben offered another job as usually happens, he left because he either thought or was told there'd be no position for him next year. Not good
The guy is a great coaching prospect, hand-picked and groomed by MM.
Anyway, I'll get off the soapbox now. I admit it's not fair to blame him entirely for our poor form this season, but he is directly related to other happenings that can only have a negative on-field effect.
