What would be a good offseason/preseason training schedule. This would include gym, running and skills.

Training Priorities for a Local/Amateur Footballer:

#1 - Body Composition (bodyfat levels)
#2 - Speed (acceleration/top end)
#3 - Aerobic Capacity (low intensity/long duration)
#4 - Max Strength (relative to bodyweight)
#5 - Aerobic Power (1 off max efforts over 20 - 30secs)
#6 - Hypertrophy (armour if needed)
#7 - Anaerobic Capacity (repeat speed)

Training should cater to all of these in some capacity, directly or indirectly, at all times regardless of the time of the season

There's a few avenues you need to master before you simply repeat speed...

1 - You need to actually have speed

2 - You need to build you recovery rate through basic aerobic capacity work
