I'd rate it about 3 out of 10 for poetry, and maybe 2 out of 10 for artistic presentation.
I think you're slipping a bit, Essendon Cheer Squad. You used to make great banners. This one is pretty damn ordinary, I reckon.
It was much too wordy, for a start. Haven't you ever heard the saying, "Keep it simple, stupid." It must have taken you all week to stick those letters on. I'd hate to be picking up the tab for your sticky tape expenses this year.
Actually, I thought it was almost verging on being derogatory to the opposition, which I believe goes against the official AFL guidelines on cheer squad banners.
Tut, tut, tut.
Could this be another fine coming up for the Essendon Cheer Squad? Ah, well. You're a rich club. You can afford it.

Did anyone else notice that their Bomber logo appears to be flying down towards the ground???

i wonder if any of the cheer squad members shed a tear when their work of art gets destroyed.....somebody obviously spent their entire week delicately cutting the letters to exact size.......then again, i wonder if the bomber players also shed a tear when they got destroyed last night.....

I made a banner for the Bombers once when they played over here, cost me over $300 & took me weeks to cut out the letters & draw the pictures, only to have it destroyed in 5 seconds, but the pride I felt when I saw the smiles on the guys faces as they read it made it all worthwhile.
