I beleive he was in the top three best on saturday. I know it's a practice game but i'm still happy that he may be getting some very valuable confidence back. I thought we saw a snifter of the old (good) gaspar last week against the pies.

Your post may have taken a different tact if Gas had to play on the likes of Lloyd or Lucas. But, I hope your right in that he's getting some confidence back, it does any player the world of good.

He played well against the Maggies too, and that was a better opposition

No offence, but against Collingwood he was surely a liability. He no longer plays on the no.1 forward, and to say his disposal is poor is an understatement, further, he has no pace left and if I were Terry Wallace or whoever the new coach is down there when Wallace gets sacked, Gasper (on his $600K contract) would be the first out of door.

So are you telling me that no Richmond supporters feel the same. Im just saying that in response to claims that he was good against Collingwood, which Im not the only one who believes those comments are absolute rubbish.

You clearly have no fukken idea about Richmond issues (but i thought you may have read about Gaspars voluntary pay cut).

P1ss off with your attempts at being interested in what we do or think.

We don't like sh1te stirrers here.

I thought Gaspar showed more against Collingwood than he did in any game last year, but that isn't saying a lot. There were some good signs, but he still has a lot of improvement to get back to his old self.

What till you spit on your coach. Richmond supporters should really take a long hard look at yourselves - you constantly bag your players, i.e. Richo, Pettifer, Ottens last year, Rodan when he's not injured, yet the real duds like Gasper are praised as saints cause they took a voluntary pay cut, big whoop, how much is he on now, $100, 000 (his real value), I highly doubt it. If I were a richmond player, i.e. Ottens, I would've left as well cause you treat your players and coaching staff like sh*t.

well obviously u must live in a bubble mate.... been plenty of times that i've sat near essendon supporters and hear them abuse the hell out their players...to imply that RFC supporters are the worst or the only 1's is really what you would expect from an essendon supporter who for some reason are either ignorant or plain fool's....both i would say....

LOL - gasper was a consistent top performer with us till he did a knee. then he came back before his knee had fully recovered, played when he should have been rested because of lack of depth, and never had the chance to get any where near 100% fitness. only 70% fit? then expect performances that are less than 70%. he took a pay cut after that one bad year.

so what else have you been up to in the pre-season Ty? still bagging your old teammates? LOL

I've loved what Bomber fans have to say about Henneman! Hypocrite.

That was ONE idiot supporter from QLD. When will people get over this.

I'm pretty sure that in court the guy admitted to not even being a Richmond supporter, but hey, let us not let the facts get in the way of a poor Bummer Troll who is still obviously hurting after a Practice Match.

:D so true :) well done SF

Before last season Gas was one of the better defenders in the league. He is back to 100% fitness and his confidence is at least neutral. When he is 100%, he is a great stopper. The only thing that lets him down is his handball. He can miss a handball target from 5m or just panick sometimes when he has to handball. From all the games I've watched him, I've never considered him to be a bad kick. He's not a great kick, but he's far from a Duncan Kellaway. I think it's the people who happen to watch 5 games a year who give him that reputation. Same with A Kellaway, his kicking is decent enough, but his main problem is that he takes to long to kick the ball after he has marked it lol

Poor old Gaspar has been copping it, but what lets the poor bloke down is the rest of his team! Of course the fullback for the team who gets the wooden spoon is going to look bad...maybe if more goals were kicked up the other end, maybe if the midfielders kept the ball up the right end, then he wouldn't look half as bad to everyone.

Gas will be back :D. He'll embarrass the portion of Tiger fans who loved him one year, then called him a dud the next year even though he was only 80% fit and confident. It's the same fans who think Richo is crap, Kraqoeur is fat etc etc etc lol

Yes Gaspar would have to be the greatest Backman running around atm because madtiger said so, he goes to all matches takes notes on what all players are doing and has an extensive and detailed profile on each player.

I'm glad we have madtiger on board we just couldnt do it without him..........

:D

I think wallace knows how to use both him and ak very well. He has Ak on the 4th best forward and he peels off into the hole when the kick comes in. Gas is probably taking the 2nd best atm as opposed to the best last year.
