Was thinking the same thing myself.

Can actually relax this weekend with the bye, a great win under our belt on Monday night and a nice little 5-1-1 start to the season.

I am actually going to the G tonight as a 'neutral' and looking forward to just enjoying the game rather than the excruciating pain Carlton seem to inflict on me every week.

Go Cats !

Agreed. Think my neighbours will be calling the cops on me soon the amount of LOUD cursing that occurs during games. Good to have a week where I don't burst any blood vessles in my head for a change.

Certainly was a lot of tired boys after monday night. It would have been a tough week if we had lost.

Not sure about the timing of our 2nd bye being rd23, may be a blessing with finals coming up but I would have preferred it to be a little earlier and have a full head of steam built up for a big finals assault.

I think the timing of the bye in round 23 is ideal for us. At least we go into the finals fresher than a lot of teams. You'd be pissed off if your last bye was round 13 or 14 I reckon.

Pfft! No one is nutural at a Collingwood game!

Perfect timing. Will Kreuz be back after the break? :/

For the ants i hope.

It was the waste of disposal into and in our F50 that drove me insane Monday. We need to really tidy that up if we are to be a fair dinkum threat for finals.

Need new blood and rotate some players. Watson, Henderson, LUcas Brock ,Kreuze Hoops all must have game time. Joseph, Armfield Carlos, Thorton break time. I think Carlos tries very hard and i like him but can we have in the side with Kreuze due back soon.

Henderson is a worry for me, he has gone backwards since last year yes he has a limited pre season but he has had six games in the VFL and should be offering more. Bower is the other one i an really worried about if his injury is chronic i think his carreer could be in doubt!

Good time for a break me thinks, last year around this time we dropped some games we should have won and had a bit of a rough patch. With the break we should be fresh and be able to focus on the next few weeks and keep getting wins on the board.

Ideally, a Geelong win with several one week withdrawals next week for 'general soreness' would be a good outcome.

This. OR some sort of new virus epidemic spreads through the entire Geelong starting 22 line-up. It only lasts 8 days. And they can't do ANY physical exercise in that time. Because it's a virus that.... umm..... like.... shuts down your.... umm... muscles?

Either one I suppose.

I think we all need a break after the last few weeks!

The player's bodies for their hard at it attitude to the ball :thumbsu:

AND ALL OF OUR HEARTS HAVING TO WATCH THEM AND THE CLOSE GAMES THEY PROVIDED

Not complaining, really impressed with the team, Ratts and the coaching staff in general.

Only people I am not impressed with are the supporters who can afford it and are not signing up .... grrrrrr.

Really, really nice to be back where we belong ... its been too long a wait!

For the last three days, I've been looking out the window and thinking 'at least we're not playing this weekend.'

Geelong will beat the Magpies in the wet.
