We should thank Nicho for not just a career where he gave all he had but also for doing the right thing by the club and making a spot free for our future. If he doesn't get picked up elsewhere I'd be happy for him to keep playing for Sandy.

He got every bit out of the talent he had, and lets be honest, not many of us have played 50+ AFL games like Nicho has.

I thought he was coming along well one season (and so did a lot of you guys) but then he did his knee and never quite recaptured that form which is a shame.

I remember back when Darren Glass was still developing, some Dees fans very much against the prospect of trading Nicholson.

Best of luck to the guy, probably would have had more luck back in the 80s.
