Hardly saw him on the TV. Also saw very little of Kirky, while I thought Bazza and Leo were down as well.
It was the younger players - Moore, McVeigh, Jack, Bird, who I thought were good, as well as Kennelly (thank God he's back).
Skill level from both teams was deplorable though. It can only get better.

Goodes only made sporadic appearances in the midfield last night and spent a fair chunk of his game time up forward. Is it possible he is carrying an injury.

the swans have always played a low possession game. If our players don't mark the ball then its hard to get a possession because there was virtually no run and carry.
I was not the least surprised to see the low figures.

I saw Goodes lead a lot and be ignored because his tag was in his back pocket. His teammates weren't giving him an oppurtunity to outmark Leigh Fisher, who is a shortarse. There are times when kicking to a contest is a good option.

this is true but when the midfielders have drilled into their heads going forward look for davis, hall and okeefe its hard for goodsey to get noticed .. especially seeing he doesnt play there

roosey said he'll tag cornes this weekend and no matter who is on him they look for him (cornes that is) so goodsey should be around the ball a lot more this weekend which hopefully equivilates to a lot more touches

Don't you mean Hall, BBBH, Bazza, Big Baz.......
Most of our midfield never think to look for anyone else.
