Adam is the type of player you want to pay to see (except when he creams your side) and a reason you want to watch the Swans play if your a neutral like me.

As for Judd vs Adam can't we agree they are both superstar and leave it at that

Hope he has a great win and a better game :D

Hey guys, won't say anythin about the game but I LOVE ADAM GOODES.
People say that we have it lucky with guys at the Hawks but somehow AG is still my favourite player in the AFL. Outrageous obviously with Buddy, Cyril, Hodge and co but Goodes is the most pure and dedicated footballer I've ever seen.

I've met him before and watched hundreds of his games and must say he's the AFL's "BEST" player. Great bloke, great champion... You guys will obviously find it tough but remember that you have a top 10 player ... "OF ALL TIME" still playing for you. I'll forever be jealous of that. Consolences but best of luck chaps.

Respect.

btw what's with the Varcoe avatar?

BAY F###ING 13!!! and a lost bet last week. Sorry to poison your board with such a shit player

Hahahahaha

Yeah he is a champ. I wear his badge on my hat to Swans games like a little fanboy. I started watching AFL around the 2002-2003 period. His departure will be like the end of an era for me, and really sad.

AA is live now on SEN radio or sen.com.au, Goodes has to get the nod in the starting 18 surely..

Loved how he said he'd like to make it to 400 games playing alongside Sam Reid!:thumbsu:

Didn't like Stephen Silvagni mixing up Ben Reid with Sam, he's the GWS list manager, freudian slip?

Welll it's good for once to get them mixed up that way. I await a commentator calling Rhyce Shaw in the Grand Final for the Pies.

And my god Goodes is humble, I love the great man. Saying that he'd love to play to 400 only because it'd mean he could play alongside Reid, Rohan, Parker and the like. What a champ of the club.

Loved his response to how 300 games feels: "Well Jarrad McVeigh has played 150 so I've got twice as many as him."

I like how he talked about his luck with injuries... I'm not sure it's been as smooth sailing as it's often made out. He often still plays while injured and can often still perform admirably. Absolute champion and true legend of our great club & the AFL in general.

Apparently he learned quite a bit from Kirky about yoga and stretching etc. You've got to wonder why more players don't follow suit considering how many games these guys missed between them over the years.

Swans star a quality performer

ADAM GOODES' place in the pantheon of champion footballers past and present is assured.
It's an incredible achievement by the 31-year-old -- playing one of the world's most physically demanding sports tests the most durable of physiques but blessed with solid genes and a serious work ethic, Goodes has played it 300 times at the elite level.

And he's done it with style.

"It's been a fantastic journey and a journey that still has a long way to go."

Such are his qualities, as a person as much as a footballer, Adam Goodes could carve up your team tomorrow and, after the initial disappointment, you'd probably want to see the replay just to watch him play.

Lucky for u guys I wasn't in charge of the dee's.
What a gun!

I love watching the Brownlow. A lot of people think it's boring and I suppose that's fair but it's the footy event I look forward to most all year (that isn't on the field obviously).

A Judd-Goodes tie would be awesome. But as long as Goodesy wins it.

Yeah I love the Brownlow S120, especially the footage of the season, it's a great review of the year, and the count usually gets exciting at some point. (Richo in.. 08? I think for instance). I mean, heck, I streamed the Brownlow last year in England that's how much I enjoyed it. It was also my only chance to see a bunch of other games from last year.
