Goodluck Hawks

I agree. I don't think anyone will be taking out Hunter in front of the social club ever again either.

Get your "at least we got there" ready, Jeff.

I used to be a big fan of the hawks and love Crawf but after round 22, i was filthy and there arrogance afterwards saying Fev wasn't good enough well,i hope they get smacked. Was itching for the Saints to beat them tonight. Go the Cats!!!

Would love to see the Hawks get up next week.
Goodluck to them and hopefully I'll be seeing Crawford with a medal round his neck. He was very speachless and borderline teary at the post-match chat tonight.

Hawks for me next week :thumbsu:

F--- Them Hawthorn, are you nuts. They deserve nothing, like in every trade week - always take and never give. Hope they get smashed and I can't believe a Carlton supporter could possibly go for Hawthorn esp after they put numbers back against Fev. Brett Ratten was right.

Surely the OP is joking?!

Geelong supporters have held themselves better than any other premiership side in memory - they have generally been humble and respectful for the game all the way through.

Hawthorn (supporters), on the other hand, have continually got ahead of themselves and slagged other teams off left right and centre. Can't wait for them to get their medicine.

Geelong all the way.

Good luck Hawks?

Go Cats.

Hawks are tanking and trading whores who deserve and want no respect from us.

Your joking right? Coming from a blues supporter?

Quite a funny joke at that. I laughed.

You all seem so angry. You can't blame hawthorn for beating you so badly the last few years, or the fact that fevalenco wasn't quite good enough.

Just because Hawthorn thumped us doesn't mean I'll shun then this week. FFS everybody's thumped us and Geelong supporters are absolute ferals. They won last year I wouldn't mind if the Hawkers got up.

I am hoping Geelong smash them to pieces. Cannot stand Hawthorn and living in the Geelong area, they would be my 2nd choice behind Carlton to win the flag.

Really?

Because I found that it was the other way around.

Any true Blues fan wouldn't ever DARE support another team!

How about if the hopes of a top 4/8 berth hinged on the result of another match?

I'm sure a few Blues supporters were (secretly or otherwise) hoping Melbourne would get over the line against us last year - had they not, chances are we wouldn't be sitting here with Kreuzer having just completed hip surgery and Judd with his arm in a sling, coming off a 10-12 season.

Has there ever been a humble group of supporters after their team won a premiership?

Rightfully so, you could say, and particularly in Geelong's case - hard not to be cocky when you've gone on to win 23 of the next 24.

Yup.

And I know several Geelong supporters IRL who are arguably as cocky as... well, when we all were in 95. ;)

To suggest that Geelong supporters are "the most humble" is a bit rich. No supporter base is humble when they're dominating. And for the record, I don't really mind the Hawks. I'd love it if Milburn loses the game for them in the dying seconds, and they switch to Silvagni in the crowd pointing at him and going "HA HA".

If we are relying on other teams to deliver us whatever the reward is then we don't deserve it.
