At the start of the year, I thought he was in for a big, big year.

I have missed your last two games, but by the sounds of it, they were pretty much like his first two.
What has happened?

To start the season he has been carrying a knee injury (a bit like Mark Stevens). He was ordinary against Freo and Sydney andwas OK against St. Kilda and WC. Last year he started the season of in the same fashion and then had some 28 touches in the showdown to be our best player. He has been struggling a bit but he will turn it around soon. Hopefully this week.:D

Goodwin has been quiet in the last two weeks, but I actually thought he was one of our best against St Kilda.

Two weeks ago Ricciuto's form was questioned on this board. And he's been awesome since!

I'm not worried about Goodwin, he's probably getting one of the two best taggers each week, and getting shut out of the game. Meanwhile against West Coast, Ricciuto, McLeod, Bickley and Bode all rack up 25+ disposals... there's only so much ball to go around! I'm confident Goodwin will be back to his best soon.

I think it is fair to say that Goody is due for a big game after a few quiet ones by his standards. Looking forward to the day when Goody, Macca & Roo all fire at the same time. Confident 2 out of the 3 will have a big game in the showdown, but 3 out of 3 would be awesome. :D

Goody has had a poor year by his standards - but he's probably been carrying a bit of injury with that knee of his.

He finished off the game very well against the Coasters, ending up with 26 posessions, which is a pretty good result for an on-baller being tagged.

Hopefully Goody will carry this form into this week, and play a showdown blinder. :)

Didn't realise about his knee, but not surprised. Too much change too soon.
By the sounds of it, he is a couple of weeks away from good form then. :D
