Hmmm...there are already medals named after Cahill and Blight.

Perhaps we could pay tribute to the administrators of each club such as Bob Hammond and Brian Cunningham?

Why not pay tribute to some current champions in Roo and Wanganeen?

Why not name it after 2 captains that played int eh first showdown???

Bickley/Wanganeen Medal. One thing against it might be the fact that Wanganeen is still playing

surely we could call it the downsborough/Chalmers Medal - go to the most useless player on the night

an oldy but still a goody....... perhaps the Adelaide stock exchange could sponsor the best on ground medal and call it the ' all ordinary' medal

Wasn't it Lyle? He's hardly worthy, so let's just name it the Bickley medal.

If Shell or Ford got on board we could name it the Dickie/Johnson Medal.

Alternatively we could name it the James/Bond Medal.

Or renew memories of F1 in Adelaide with the Williams/Carr Medal.

Failing that we could sell out by appeasing both old and new sponsors with the Mead/Breuer Medal.

Or.... perhaps we go for the feel good medal and just say "All played well" . Those words would sh it me no end as a kid. The few times I did play an absolute cracker of a game the coach would always end up saying at presentation "All played well" and I would miss out on the Mickey Dee vouchers yet again. Doh!

lol
