So who here has wasted time at work the past couple days checking out every address they've ever lived at on google maps?

I was so excited to spot my Commodore out the front of my mum's place. She is standing next to it seeing me off and I'm obscured, but seem to be strapping my sons into the back seat.

I love it! :D
 
Lol, yes its awesome. And we already have whingers out there crying about it saying it takes away their privacy.


For those who don't want it, there is a form on google to fill up.

But yeh, its awesome and got stuck into it as soon as i read the article in the paper yesterday.
 
Somewhat guilty as charged, unfortunately I don't get the time to do this at work but I have wasted a fair bit of time looking up places on the Google Maps.

I laugh at the fact I can find my old residence in Eaglehawk but Geelong (where the bf grew up) is not even on the map. :D

So... perhaps I shouldn't have been so quick to boast. My work has now blocked all things google. Bummer. :thumbsd:
 
If some of you haven't got the maps, it may be because your street is a private st, if someone has complained or if the Google Car hasn't come around yet.

GUILTY!!!!

I reckon I wasted 2 hours yesterday, and an hour today, checking out my old houses, my current place, my ex wife's place, my inlaws' joint, old girlfriends' homes, mates' homes in the US, outside my work, where I usually sit outside over lunch. It went on and on and is very addictive. It's an amazing piece of technology.

My sister left her car at Mum & Dad's while she was overseas earlier this year, with the understanding that they'd drive it down to the shops every now and again to keep it in running order for her.

I believe she got quite the surprise when checking out my place (200km away) and saw her car in my driveway!

Yep........how the hell are we meant to fit all of this stuff, as well as BF into our work hours as well? Geez life's getting tough ;)

I might have to ask the boss for a second laptop............and more money while I'm at it FFS!

I haven't seen most of them for years, including the ex wife, so it's interesting to see if they're still where you last knew they resided.
