Kangaroos4eva, you are on the clock. As this is a mock draft. The 8 hours of pick run until 8pm, at which point you can’t be timed out overnight. The 8 hours will continue from 6am the following morning, after you time ellipses in the day, you will be timed out. This is AEDT time. Also if you live in a time zone that isn’t convenient to this, (e.g London) just let us know so that we can make the same adjustments for yourself. If these rules don’t work for everyone let us know, it’s just so then we don’t have to be up all hours of the night.

With Pick One and to no great surprise, the North Melbourne Football Club selects...

Jason Horne-Francis

Jason is an outstanding young man with footy traits to die for. Arguably the best player in the draft.

Pick 4 is on the table.

Message me with offers. Won't accept any offers that include future (2022) picks.

Alright, to no surprise I'll take Finn Callaghan with pick 2. Sorry for the delay guys, trades didn't really go anywhere.

Big_Newon

Callaghan is the standout 3rd best player in this draft. His rare combination of the elusive and agile movement, blistering speed, and height make him a unique prospect who promises a lot of potential X-Factor. His fit at the Giants is questionable, but he has the ability to play off half-back and his talent is undeniable. If Finn can improve his contested game, apply his speed and size defensively, and provide consistent scoreboard impact he will be special.

Other considerations at this pick:
Josh Ward - My favorite player of this draft, but he lacks the versatility to fit in the Giants lineup and is not as a high-ceiling player as Finn. BPA, always
Josh Gibcus - Intercepting backman in the same vein as Lever and Haynes, I would not want to compromise talent for fit. Good player but doesn't have the ceiling Callaghan does.
Mac Andrew - This was the big one, but after consideration, Finn is just closer to realizing his potential. The way I see it, Andrew is 3 years away from being a good player. The Giants would want someone who might be able to help them this year or next year with their contention. If I was able to trade down I would have grabbed him (Sorry Smythe) but I am happy with Finn.

By my maths I give up 36, 38, 46, 51 and 54 if that's correct to match 1787.2 points?

Western Bulldogs match with picks 31, 39, and 43, with 44 sliding back to 57 I think. We now have picks 45, 53, and 57. Big_Newon you’re back on the clock

Just double check. You should slide back to 59;

1627.2-606-446-378-362
-164.8

That equals pick 59.
