i have 1 trade left and have higgins and chappy in the forward line. simple question who is more likely to be back next round so i can decide on which one of them im gonna trade.

I presume you have no cover in the forwards and will wear a zero? Otherwise you may not need to trade either out, so let us know why you need to trade and it will help. Also who your preferred options are and why (though it doesn't seem like you need help with the target, just who to offload?)

i did have ballentyne cover until he was suspended and ive also got garlett who wont get a game i doubt. i need to trade this week and hope that i win so that in the prelims i get either higgins or chappy back- whoever i dont trade but in case i dont i need ine of them to play if i play semi finals next week. targets arent a concern really but i wud get brown or rok for chappy leaving me with no trades and 100k which is ridiculous and for higgins i could get akermanis and pretty much f##k all else...
Tough choice really though I don't think Chapman's injury is that serious.
Just remember you might not have a full team after the (hopefully) week off - so be sure before you use this trade.
You need to balance up the higher points potential you get in the short term from getting rid of Chappy vs his potential when he comes back - I would lean towards losing Higgins but it is your choice. Higgins means probably less points because as you point out Aker is probably your best option (there is an age and injury risk there), but don't forget NG Brown's potential even though he is not scoring that highly at the moment.
There are other options but I presume you have Deledio and Buddy.
You should also have a look at the draw for this week and two weeks time and see how whoever you want to select performs against those teams.
Just remember you might not have a full team after the (hopefully) week off - so be sure before you use this trade.

is there something you know about nathan brown that i dont because i consider him to be a washed up 30 year old with not much going for him.
i have everything u can get at around the 360 mark pretty much and yeh akers recent form is fairly good and his upcoming teams he has all scored really well in the earlier games against them this year. this includes both 122 against the pies and collingwood and he seems more of a target without higgins.
thanks for your help i will probably be offloading him unless i here news about the injuries of either players
Fair enough. NG Brown loves the one-two, loves the cheapo possie takes marks kicks goals. I have to assume you knew that though. Plus he's playing for a contract (maybe that is why he isn't getting the cheap possies and it is affecting his scoring admittedly). But he has had his stint at Coburg and should trend up from here, he seems to be fully over his leg issues.
The question obviously is whether he can get back to ton scoring form - I am prepared to back him in. I bet a month or two ago you would have said the same "washed up 30 year old" thing about Brad Johnson.
If you have all the others around that mark I guess you must be looking hard at Aker like you said, I was merely saying there are other options. Aker is a bit of an injury risk but should score well if he stays on the park.

Goddard, Rance in the backline and most likely both will have to come out. Harry Taylor, Raines are benched.
Ballantyne to come out with Higgins and Watts on the bench.
Just wondering what I should do? Any advice? All 3 games I'm in top 8 elimination games so I dont have the luxury.
I'm thinking of keeping Goddard and keeping Raines so I have $40k more to play with by trading Taylor. Or, should I get rid of Goddard for a similar or less value so I can pump more money into a quality forward by trading Watts or Higgins?
Either way, I'm going to go in 1 short if Rance doesn't play.

If I had to guess, I would say that your bookmark points to 'afl6.virtualsports.com.au'

Hows your cover in other positions?
It's a good trade on paper because it is an upgrade aswell, however if you've got crap cover in your backs and mids than you will probably need the trade later.

What do people reckon the par score will be this week considering all the injuries? I'm starting to think 2000 will be enough to push most people up the rankings.
1900 will probably be enough to shoot you up the rankings, its been a horrific week.

I think 1900 would be better than 50% of the top (5000) teams this week.

Will Goddard and Gilbert be back for Saints?
Ive heard Goddards knee has been troubling him lately. Having said that, Ross Lyon did admit that if last Saturday was the Grand Final, all those players would have played... especially Fisher, who was out "sore"
