Anyone seen rank ones team? Got Ablett Bartel Corey AND Selwood in his midfield.

Bit random....just thought it was interesting he can have 4 geelong players in his midfield (plus chappy and enright in his team). I was worried about bringing in enright coz i had bartel and selwood and i thoyght 3 players might be to much. This guy has 6 and is comin first!

I think for DT that's an okay strategy as they are the best team...However, with SC I don't think you can do that as there is a limit on points allocated (although there is a debate about this)

I've not seen any North games lately and know nothing of Nathan Grima, other than he's scored well over the last 3 weeks. Is he likely to hold his spot and what are the opinions of down grading Chad to him so I can free up some cash to get Ablett into my midfield ?

Anyone listen to leigh paatsch on the run hom on SEN just now? what was the name of the horror movie he was talking about that is a remake of some sort and is top notch? just caught the end of it and it sounds good

At what price do you think Muston would have peaked? I have him starting :( and cant figure if i should upgrade him now or wait. I have 160k iirc.

If i dont trade this week this will leave me with 8 trades.. Is that too many to have going into round 13? I just dont see any downgrade options and i have no cash to upgrade.. Im ranked 160 atm with cornes on the bench and playing grimes, broughton and one of cheney or petrenko

If I have Cox and no playing ruck bench players, how many trades would I need to have left for it to be a good idea to sideways trade Jacobs to Naintaniu (which would also cost $19.4k)?

Or would this not be a good idea even if I had 20 trades left?

I think this is just me being stupid, but I'm seriously considering keeping Giansiracusa.

I know six weeks is a long time, but I'm only going for a league win. There are still 5 weeks left in the season and I have an easy draw left. I'm easily in the top four and t would take a miracle for me to fall down to 5th. This would mean that after 5 weeks I'd only have a qualifying final left. Then I just take the zero in the qualifying final and continue needing only 3 wins to win the league.

I only have 5 trades left and am going to use one to upgrade Hartlett this week. This would mean that I'm a good chance to go into finals with 4 trades left, which I think is pretty good.

Also, I think there is every chance that Giansiracusa could be back in 5 or less weeks.

Could someone please tell me if this is sound reasoning or just absolute stupidity?

If you are absolutely safe then it is a reasonable idea but you are spreading yourself pretty thin if there is another injury (or more) to your forward line. Take Gia and your best forward out as a bit of worst case scenario planning; if you are still confident of winning then it's safe. If not you can still keep him and just trade him if you need to. You may also need to consider that the 'easy' teams might get better between now and then through trades.

The Dogs will want him back before finals and pushing him too hard might make him unavailable so if they have said 6 then I would be trusting that until you hear otherwise. 6 weeks to return gives him 3 games before finals which is probably about right.

Thanks, I really have a lot to consider. I'll have to analyse my draw and team structure.

Why have less than 2% of dream team coaches bought Stanton?
I guess because he isn't perceived as being a premium mid compared to GAJ/Bartel/Swan etc.

The one thing going against Stanton is that he will always cop the tag if there's one going, because the Dons don't have anyone more damaging to tag. Which is a pity, because he can score like a house on fire when he's left alone. He has certainly improved in handling a tag this year compared to the last couple though... and due for a couple of monster games.

I'd say Watson and Lovett have gone past him this year Bax. Should mean fewer shockers from Stanton for the remainder of the year.

What is the least number of players you have won a league game with?

In Supercoach a couple of years ago, I won a final with 17 players, and the next week lost by 42 points with 16 players.
