I suspect Paton will return (unless we rush Mills back). Would put Hamling back and play Buller myself.Could be a choice between Snell Paton or Buller to come back in if Amartey is suspended
Unless they go much smaller
Been saying for years that when our mids are the major ball winners we win more compared to when our half backs do

Yep brought in Sheldrick for Florent and we were like -30 marks +23 tackles and the mids got much more of it. If Heeney could kick the thing we would have won by 30Been saying for years that when our mids are the major ball winners we win more compared to when our half backs do
Would rather Corey stay in the team over Roberts, Rampe and Lloyd.
With our injuries you take the Ws however they come.We won but against 12 other teams in the competition we would have lost tonight.
Agreed think Hamling in defence and Buller up forward alongside McLean and Ladhams is a better combo than Snell/Paton down back and Hamling McLean and Ladhams up forwardI suspect Paton will return (unless we rush Mills back). Would put Hamling back and play Buller myself.
Rampe i'm not there yet (should be last year) but yeah the other 2 maybe. Roberts can find the ball though
Those conditions suited Carlton's game style so good result to get the job doneWe won but against 12 other teams in the competition we would have lost tonight.
I wouldn't bring McLean backAgreed think Hamling in defence and Buller up forward alongside McLean and Ladhams is a better combo than Snell/Paton down back and Hamling McLean and Ladhams up forward
Single handedly forced to because of the outsI wouldn't bring McLean back
Roberts can find the ball but his disposal is so much worse than it was last year.
As for Rampe he is a shadow of his former self. I think he only got something like 10 disposals today as well.
Not really. I'd go 2 KPFs.Single handedly forced to because of the outs

Apparently both shouldn’t have played in the middle tonight according to one expert on here
They got the ratio right will be interesting how Mills goes in the midfield as I think they can just put JJ on the wing for McInerney and then Mills can play from the back of stoppages. Also Mills can do run with roles as wellApparently both shouldn’t have played in the middle tonight according to one expert on here….
Fair but we loose 2 KPs tonight so we have to bring 1 in.Not really. I'd go 2 KPFs.

If we had more fit players (and no suspensions) Roberts, Lloyd and Rampe would not be in the best 22.
You have 300% Midfield time in theory right across 3 midsThen a guy like Rowbottom is your 5th or 6th mid and can have impact with less pressure and attention.
