TOMMY HISLOP

Thought he was great today but the most pleasing things i saw him do.

When he picks it up off the deck and has his arms pinned manages to keep the ball on his chest forcing a ball up, for too long we have had players that release the footy and there is nothing worse.

Will run in and collect a body every opportunity he gets.

But the happiest moment of tommys game today was i think the 3rd quarter if u didnt see it get a copy of the game and look for it, hot footy in Richmonds forward line geelong had possession Scarlett rushed a handball that went straight to browny for the goal and the only bloke who went straight to scarlett and got in his ear was Slops, got right in scarlets face and let him know all about it, hopefully with players like sloppy in the side i will never again see a richmond player put down unfairly and 17 blokes look the other way (shane edwards milburn incident last year) it makes me sick, if someone hits a teammate it should hurt like it would hurt if they hit you.

Big thumbs up for Rancey and Slops today and they should be selected week in week out.

hard at it, just what we need.

garbage nickname

Hislop was good today, really enjoyed his game today.. Put his head over the ball and showed he has some of that famous c*** in him!!!

Also, rance had a good game for debut and gus was pretty solid.. All should hold their spots for a few weeks..:thumbsu:

Both boys had a good debut in Y&B rance in particular, plays like he loves the hard stuff and likes to take a dash, will be a very good player...must persevere with Hispol, has not had much senior footy , give him some experience, he has more to add than edwards into our side...Pivotal moment when young edwards was brushed aside by SJ for the match sealer, was painful to watch:eek:

Thursfield should be in along with Rance. Theres certainley room for the 4 of them.

Bring in Thomson alongside Hislop and the pair of them will toughen up the midfield a great deal in my opinion. :thumbsu:

I'm pretty sure Hislop is one of the hardest players in the league. 8 AFL games - should only get better.

Rance - should play most games this season. Even with Thursty. Pretty sure Rance can play just about anywhere. He runs all day and is hard at it time and time again.

rance should be used as a wingman whilst he learns the game, dont need him as a key back just yet
