What a weekend i just had. Went over to me mates after school friday night and just chilled there and waited for the big game on big screen to come on. I did my traditional thing which was have the fan on, tv up loud and lights off. Start of the bounce when buckley got that goal i thought here we go. But we stuck in there.
What really does put a grin on my face is the toughness on the ball, and how we always had 2-3 players around the pack waiting for crumbs and our defence, midfield, ruck and forawrd line was working nice.

Good god newman is a gem, Along with coughlan and rodan and krakouer they will be brilliant. I wouldnt drop fleming for next week because he was tagging all night. He would be good for Yze next week. Anyway my main point of this thread is to praise danny frawley and now its really good cause we played direct footy and richo kicked a bag. Only question is zantuck he didnt do that much but im sure he will be good next week or be palyed down back on a robertson type.

After that i was so happy i couldnt get to sleep but finally did then i went to the sydney vs brisbane game at the gabba and that was one of the best nights of my life a really good atmosphere and a great game. This morning i came back home and me and my girlfriend got back together so this has been a really superb weekend overall. Go the mighty Tigers and lets give that top 8 a shake!!!!

Great Effort: Tivendale,Johnson,Brown,Richo,Newman,Ottens

Improved: Fiora, Hall, Gasper, Campbell, Hartigan, Hyde, Rodan, Krakouer

Did the job: Bowden,Fleming, and the rest.

Im just relaly happy with Brown and Krakouer and Rodan. They set up so much play through the midfield and were always crumbing the feet in the forward line. There will be easy 50 goals between them this year.

Go tiges

How you can honestly say that Tim Fleming should stay in the side is a joke.

You, more than ANYONE, regularly speak about young players eg. Roach etc. who could/should be getting game time to introduce them into the big time, right?
Fleming has NO effect whatsoever on his opponents. Simple as that. His pathetic "hey woey.........over here......hey pretty boy.......oi over here......." tactics worked wonders on friday night...

I have NEVER seen him beat an opponent since his (pathetic mind you) debut. He is a terrible footballer, who is merely wasting a spot in your side for someone with TALENT, CLASS and DAMAGING SKILLS.

If you cant see that, then I will NEVER read anything you have to say.

You obviosuly dont pay attention to what i write. Mate i luv bringing new kids into the side. I wanted roach and hartigan to play so much cause there good value. But fleming adds what we need and thats toughness. He can get plenty of the ball eg 20+ disposals vs st kilda and there would only be a few players that can shut down andrew mcleod and he is one.

Fleming is good value. We need him in teh 22 week in week out. So make sure you read what i write from now on or stick to ur collingwood board

He beat McLeod over in Adelaide last year, apart from that he's probably had a few break evens without beating his direct opponent.

I'm not Fleming's biggest fan but not every player in the side can be be flashy you need a good spread of players who are willing to do the hard things.

i have one more thing to say:

Oh we're from Tiger land
A fighting fury
We're from Tiger land
In any weather you'll see us with a grin
Risking head and shin
If we're behind then never mind
We'll fight and fight and win
For we're from Tiger land.
We never weaken till the final siren's gone
Like the Tiger of old
We're strong and we're bold
For we're from Tiger (yellow and black)
We're from Tiger land.

At least he is couragous and always gives 100%. Collingwood could certainly have used some of those qualities last Friday.

Lets not get ahead of ourselves. Good win, but the likes of the Saints who are on the march is our next big test.
Hopefully Richo and his D cuppers get into gear for this tough assignment and maybe talk about where we are at after that.

Did anyone actually notice them wobbling?
