Has all the alcohol brought out the sooks today?
There seems to be a lot of navel gazing going on.
I only sook in the absence of alcohol.

It still happened. Where as we have made more finals than any other team. We are a great club.Articles in today's papers suggest they have pretty well fixed that problem
Yeah, but, they won 2 in 3 years and we space ours 20 years apart and Richmond look more likely of winning another 1 or 2 in the next 3 years while we just seem to lose ours.Richmond were the worst performed Victorian club for 30 years
I will change my stance to a "Collingwood is a great club who under achieves" does that make you feel better? It still happened. Where as we have made more finals than any other team. We are a great club.

More flags would make us the greatest - not just greatIt still happened. Where as we have made more finals than any other team. We are a great club.
I totally agree. Whether you liked him or loathed him, the infamous Carlton president, George Harris once stated after Carlton had won the 1968, 1970, 1972 & 1979 Premierships, respectively:We’re not a great club.

Absolutely, but some people on here say I have to be happy to just make it and not go all the way.More flags would make us the greatest - not just great

Really, all of us want flags, but everyone handles it differently.Absolutely, but some people on here say I have to be happy to just make it and not go all the way.

Not for Pies - we can't even do 2 packsPity. Flags never come in six-packs.

Yeah but how many would have at least turned up, dare I say it Carlton would have shown more. GWS were embarrassing.Incredible run towards the finals by the Tigers, really cranked it up at the right time. They're a good team, and I can't think of another team in the comp which would have beaten them today.
As far as I know the 2020 season hasn't been cancelled, so hopefully our boys can take a leaf from Richmond's book by turning the prelim final pain of one year into premiership glory the next.
Yeah but how many would have at least turned up, dare I say it Carlton would have shown more. GWS were embarrassing.
Well if it only was a Richmond/Collingwood grand finalNot for Pies - we can't even do 2 packs
Luckily we have next year.More flags would make us the greatest - not just great
We have elite talent in JDG, Moore, Grundy and Stephenson that should be around for the next five years. They will be where it’s at, what can we bring in to support them. I still believe we are a big chance next year and the transition into the next phase could be seamless.Well if it only was a Richmond/Collingwood grand final
Win lose or draw
We would have been more competitive than GWS
We really need to recruit some talent in our Mid/forward region
As we are the only threat to Richmond
Gee another Dane Swan would be inspirational
So far the Tigers are looking to build a dynasty
And we need to curb that
Cmon Pies
Season officially over
and the worst part is , I live a street away from Victoria Park
The squatters are settling in
Behind coaches box
They were cooked, they were half cooked last week and the conditions we didn’t handle and our lack of ruthlessness got them through. Richmond is a good side and ground away until they broke them.Yeah but how many would have at least turned up, dare I say it Carlton would have shown more. GWS were embarrassing.
I don’t really care what you say dude. Collingwood have given me some of the best moments in my life. That will never change.I will change my stance to a "Collingwood is a great club who under achieves" does that make you feel better?

I would love another Dane Swan, JFTR
For example, 1977 was listed as another Collingwood failure, and the loss after leading by 27 at 3/4 time was heartbreaking, but that season after the horror of 1976 was an absolute joy to watch for a young fella like me.I don’t really care what you say dude. Collingwood have given me some of the best moments in my life. That will never change.
Carlton know plenty about coming last.I totally agree. Whether you liked him or loathed him, the infamous Carlton president, George Harris once stated after Carlton had won the 1968, 1970, 1972 & 1979 Premierships, respectively:
"If you come 2nd then you might as well come last!"
I like that attitude of not accepting but being totally contemptuous of 2nd best!
That is what I think & since 2010 we have achieved nothing as a football club. Premiership cups are all that matters. The rest is all white noise that in 5, 10, 20 or 30 years nobody remembers. The problem is that Collingwood accepts mediocrity far too easily & everybody is just too comfortable & we historically have been happy to make far too many excuses. We need - the club that is - needs a total rocket to shake the place up as 2010 will soon be a decade away. So you you are right. We may be a well recognised & very popular club but we are not great. I look forward to rhe forthcoming critiques. Bye.
