Please please pretty please - can someone put up Teddys inspirational 3 qtr time address to his players in his final game for the Scrays . It is an absolute beauty - i could watch it/ listen to it 1000 times and i still wouldnt get sick of it

As for the game - i hope it is a great game - i will be pleased for either club to win . I rate Melb extremely highly - i think they have got a super side - in peak form - no injuries - so it will be a mighty effort if the Dogs can knock them off

A little bit of trivia or an Omen - i 1954 Dogs beat Cats in Prelim and then beat the Dees in the GF

2021 - Dees beat Cats in PF and are now playing Dogs in GF

Dees get on top in the midfield early it could be a belting, really dont think that defence will hold up against the Dees forwards.

I am looking forward to this game. These two teams totally deserved to be there and both play attractive football (something I can’t say about the cats over the last couple of years). If both teams are at their absolute best then we could be in for a fantastic game. Can’t wait.

I like the way the Dogs play, and they have an exciting collection of players in Bontempelli, Naughton, Daniel, Smith etc etc - would be a massive effort for them to get the job done but if anyone can do it against a red-hot Melbourne team, it is Beveridge's team.

Max Gawn will take a lot of stopping; English is still a couple of years away from fully growing into his body and Stef Martin is too short.

Look for dirty dog Viney to try to upset either one of McCrae or Bontempelli on the day; I'd back either of them to run him into the ground though.

Not sure the Dogs have got enough specialist defenders to handle the likes of Pickitt, Ben Brown, McDonald and Fritsch, but they get the job done regularly despite having lacking any commanding key defenders.

Melbourne should get the biscuits, but I'll be hoping for a Bulldogs upset.

Two fast-paced skillful teams. Should be an awesome game to watch.

My fear is there's 16 other coaches thinking up strategies to slow these teams down.

Flood warning incoming!

I'll be going for the Dees simply due to my dislike of Luke Beveridge. Also Kosi Pickett is one of my favourite non-Geelong players to watch so there's that.

Bontempelli is going to come up big in this game. You just get the feeling he's due.
Really shapes as a terrific contest.
Schache has been a blessing in disguise going from CHB to CHF. Not that Melbourne would care too much as he is only providing a target so Naughton can get a one-on-one match up.

Really fascinating to see if Beveridge orchestrates something against Gawn this time around.
Doggies controlled the game last time and won it without any issues at all with Gawn amassing 56 hit-outs, 18 disposals & 9 clearances. Gawn has improved again over the last month as he's arguably top 5 in the game.

This should be an absolute cracker of a game.
2 teams with really solid, ball winning midfields who use the ball well (anti Geelong), and are risk taking teams.
It's the style most conducive to finals success so I anticipate an exciting game between 2 sides playing attractive football.
For me it'll also be the first time in a few years that I'm ok with whoever wins the flag, Demons have a 57 year drought that would be exciting to see end, pls they have some genuinely brilliant players, doggies rarely have tasted success and I like their dogged (pun intended) attitude towards adversity and I'd be happy to see that resolve rewarded like it was in 2016.

Demons to win in a super close one. Gawn Norm.

Some of my fav non cats in this game, Petracca, Dunkley, Macrae & Bont, but the one thing I want to see is someone run straight through Jack Viney…and early. His antics in the prelim along with flopping every time he was touched he’s my new most disliked player, and I generally like all afl players. F#$k him.
