Even the drawn GF in 2010 was just delayed pain for another week.

Geelong have missed 1 finals series in 16 years and we've stumbled into one in 11. Stuv played for 11 seasons and got one finals game in 2011. Selwood 12 prelims, 6 GFs, 4 premierships in 16 seasons. Footy can get ****ed.

Yep we play against a generational team and they get to play a Sydney team that maybe struggled to make the 4 in our prime.

When we did make finals we had a burn the bridges approach, salary cap, draft , none of it mattered.
Well guess what... it did.

I agree. Low scoring games leave you so vulnerable to luck, as we proved.
