So you would be one of us on a pensioners card.
I'd have to admit everytime I heard blakey I either say I'll get you Butler or Oh oh ohh.
You just have to.
Especially when it's just you the misses and the dog watching.
But yeah there's only my old mates that get it.
My new friends are like just turned 50 , they wouldn't have a clue who Olives was.
Poor soles.

That's bloody good. Probably the best of these I've seen (so far). The audio doesn't always quite match the vision but the research and thoroughness to go back through all the various TV and radio shows to find everyone writing us off is frightfully impressive 👏👏👏

“How long are you going to celebrate this premiership?” - wife

“I copped a lot of sh&t last year, I have a right to celebrate as long as I want” - me

“Eye roll*” - wife
Also "we may never see it happen again."

And if you get accused of being overly dramatic, you simply need to point to St Kilda.

I copped a bit of flak in Sydney the other week for wearing my Lions clobber the whole time I was there... Was worth every second.

I’ve always been a humble person. I’ll never give sh&t to a Sydney supporter but after the crap I got last year from Collingwood and non Collingwood friends… I’ll f$&king celebrate this grand final for as long as I want haha

I was 16, 17, 18 when we did the 3 peat. Loved it but didn’t quite appreciate it. But this.. 2024… was the fu&king best. So many stories involved.

We did it boys and girls!!!!!! We f$&king did it!!!

My 6 year son was diagnosed with cancer in May, and my wife and I spent 1 month in Ronald McDonald house going over to QCH where he was getting treatment. Fair to say it's been a tough year, and we are still going through regular chemo 9 months later. I feel like I'm only now, after watching this video, appreciating the amazing effort from the team and coaches to win this premiership. What a fantastic effort, GO LIONS!! 🦁 🦁 🦁

Sending love to you and your family . It’s a horrendous thing you are going through but research has done so much in the treatments for childhood cancer .Hope your little man is doing well ❤️

Hang in there mate, there’s always hope. ❤️
As a teenager my brother went through 2 years of chemo, radio and whatever else they could throw at him, and came close to the end a few times. At 19 years he had a bone marrow transplant. Next year he celebrates his 61st birthday (his 40th, and his 21st since he got a new DNA). Positive outlook, and believe in your doctors.

Next year I’ll be running the Melbourne Marathon for ACRF.

Life is so unfair. Chemo is bloody awful but it can work - I'm still here thanks to it.

Hold your son and the rest of the he family tight, even amidst this year there will be moments of love, connection and happiness that you can cherish forever.

Each week myself and whoever was taking me would dress in random fancy dress costumes. I chose to commit the fun of that to my memory and we still share those memories. Chemo? What chemo?

All the best, hope the chemo kicks arse.
