Last week Geelong faced an Eagles side that had about 4o tackles compared to their average against the top sides of about 95 per game.The Eagles were tired and the Pies were weak in strength the last time the Cats played those sides.

I know people will look at 28 and think what? My reason is purely based on this. Collingwood beat Hawthorn by 3. Geelong beat them by 31 points. Difference equals 28. Collingwood beat West Coast by 20. Guess what? Geelong beat them by 48 points. Difference? 28 points. So Geelong are a 28 point better side this finals series.

People are simply running a formline based on the prelim finals IMO. End of the day the Pies didn't become a bad team overnight (otherwise the market would have them as clear favs insteahe underdogs for the first time in a game all season!!). They are coming a far higher intensity game then the Cats who were never in trouble against the Eagles, which to me provides far better preparation for the big one.

I have a feeling this GF will be an anti-climax culminating with a comfortable win for the Pies. Hope I'm wrong though!

im not going to make any tips, but day-um, im getting nervous. i cant tell if im confident, or not. my 'study day' has pretty much been spent on afl.com.au and big footy.

im so sick of hearing 'hi, im josh whoever from brisbane broncos, time to zero in'. heard it maybe 60 times today.

IF dreams have any correlation to results, im expecting west coast to beat geelong by 12 points. travis varcoe will kick the sealer for the eagles, too.

cant wait for the game.
