I like your post but 15 goals is a massive stretch. I think Crows will/hope have too much class and precision with their kicking but this one won't be easy for Crows. The Tigers are a different beast this year and they'll be up for the fight. Their biggest improvement this year has been their pressure. Dear alwaysacrow do you remember the margin in the Crows v Richmond when they met this year?? over70points OK richmond may have improved so why wouldn't the crows also have improved?? I would rather be a crow than a tiger, mentally they will be shattered and as I said in a previous e-mail THEY WILL WONDER WHAT THE HELL HIT THEM ,,,YOU WILL SEE.

Our Clubs share similar DNA and we both have to put up with the feral unwashed down the Road that devalue our fine Cities.

Would be fair to say that most on our Board and in Perth in general are barracking for you guys.

There has been a solid connection between the two Clubs over the years.

Worsfold assisting in the difficult transition after Phil was sadly taken from us.
Phil Walsh was a very popular assistant Coach with West Coast and was highly regarded.
Now your current Coach Don Pyke a former coach and player with West Coast.

So I will be a vocal Crows supporter for the day tomorrow.

Thanks for the confidence I guess I'm just as nervous as hell. I believe Crows are the better team, the only thing that concerns me is the MCG factor. Can't wait though bring it on.

Other Predictions: Tigers to go over the top early and recklessly endanger players from both sides, but umps will hold whistles on FK's our way. At least one FK where a Tiger pummels into a Crow and gets a FK for it. Crows will bite back and we will get at least one player reported.

One team plays the second half one or two men down.

Jenkins gives one strong marking contest and looks good until a smaller tiger accidentally clips him and he plays soft the rest of the game (please play strong all game JJ).

Betts quiet early but kicks point of the year in the third sparking a run of points for both teams.

Cameron gets called for multiple FK against (all BS - running too far/high tkls etc)

Martin to kick more tigers goals and have more touches than 1/3 of his team combined.

if we win Tex gives it to 'unloyal past players' (whether directly or by strongly praising loyal ones) and the Vic media focus on that all week instead of our win.

Someone spills their beers on me at the pub but buys my table a round to make up for it :)

IF we play focused and switched on we win, 6 goals or more. If we don't kick straight early Tigers will make us pay for it but won't run away with a big lead giving us a chance to start kicking better.

Honestly, cannot count any team out in a GF (all things being equal - umps not being biased) as we well know in our 97/98 teams and even the WB last yr (although fk's helped them in GF). So unless we are ahead by 10 goals or up by 6 or more with less than 10m to go I will be holding in any celebrating.

Game sewn up by half time, Richmond make a concerted fight back in the 3rd only for Adelaide to pile on 3 goals in a row, last 1/4 cake walk.

1) We play a similar game, but with our run and spread for teammates the Crows do it better.

2) your comments Re: Cotchin (I assume you're talking about the bump which concussed Shiel and put their best player out of the game? Shiel missed most of the game affecting his team's flexibility and rotations while Cotchin played on and gets to play in a GF)
--- it was not a tackle. He made a great show of going for the ball :rolleyes:, but zero attempt to tackle.
--- Cotchin braces his right arm under, to strengthen his shoulder for the hit. Only his left hand is even remotely aimed at the ball.
--- first point of contact is the R corner of his shoulder to the L corner of Shiel's chin. Again, not a tackle. Maybe that contact was "accidental". I think not, but I'm not a mind-reader, and Cotchin not surprisingly said he was going for the ball. At the very least the contact is high, reckless, and maybe accidental which would be a fine, thereby rubbing him out on the 3 strikes rule.
The MRP is pissweak and has been inconsistent all year.
As for:
"otherwise it will end up a "girlies" game like soccer" o_O , hey, I loathe the way that pro male soccer players dive/ exaggerate injury, drop like they've been shot, then roll around in fake agony to give their mates a breather and break up the other team's momentum, but girls/women play both soccer and AFL footy. It's 2017, not 1957 and both codes have moved beyond sexist labels. Catch up.
 
Crows to win. I don't care by how much, the more the better (my heart would be at risk in a thriller of less than a goal margin).

I was calm about our winning before the QF and PF --- the only thing that concerns me is if Richmond can sustain their fanatical tackling for 4 quarters and whether we can keep our composure against that. Then my calm confidence kicks in again. Richmond won't have the opportunities to pressure and tackle as much as their last 2 games. Our run and spread and kicking efficiency reduces the number of scrimmages and stoppages.

Norm Smith: Sloane, if not tagged hard. Maybe Jacobs who'll be playing for the team, and his brother and Walshy.

Big plays: a few end-to-end Crows goals, 12-point turnarounds. Relentless 1%-ers, shepherds, smothering, tap-ons etc. Nobody does it better than the 2017 Crows.
