Time for Joel Reynolds to show why we recruited him

He will be starting off 2 metres in the Grand Final sprint. A bit rough considering he has come off a knee reconstruction.

Chance for yet more Cat glory this year !:p

Quite possibly the last time he represents our club. :(
I hope he wins.

Boo hiss.

Someone should start an online petition for Shannon Byrnes to run in the grand final sprint! ;)

surprise selection. Even Tenace would be quicker I would have thought. At least it means his knee is recovered which is good news for Joel.

wasn't he killing it in the pre-season before he did his knee?

I would say they will give him another chance - particularly with H and Charlie likely departures to get better opportunities at other clubs

Charlie to Adelaide ?
H to Sydney ?

Isaw a lot of Joel at the Bombers and was rapt when he came to catland. A good player, v. unlucky.

I think he's in the same boat as Lonergan, too old to be re-rookied or something, so it's either elevate him or delist/trade him. I'm not quite sure.

You are allowed one mature age rookie and I dont think either are going to be promoted so either reynolds or lonergan will be dropped from the rookie list.

With the way Lonners performed in the VFL on his return, it's unlikely he'd be dropped. Apparrently returning to a form that warrants seniors consideration.

Saw him in the prelim and GF, he was very good in both, and if he was eligible I wouldn't have been surprised if he was considered for this week. He can take a mark under pressure, he's a terrific kick. Not sure what his tank is like. Might be a tad slow for some match ups. Most important of all he's got a good head for footy. I think he's a seriously good player and the senior guys will need to maintain good form to keep him out once he's elevated.

Are you sure about this ?? Haselby ?? He'd need a 20m head start wouldn't he? Or is there a Krispy Kreme out in front of him ?? Surely there is quicker players than he at the Dockers.

They are surely taking the Pi$$

Haselby is a hoar, he will do anything for a bit of media or a chance at some cheap cash.
