The naive neutral team supporting sports lover in me thinks you're right. The old man crusty cynic in me reckons he has 'accidently' taken him out similar to how David King took out Craig O'Brien in the 1996 grand final. Tactically O'Brien was important, without him in the forward line they could double team Lockett.I disagree. You have to play it at full speed and he went from punching the ball to bracing for the hit. I don't know what else he could've done.
