sorry if this has been already discussed.....

I am a social club member and registered this morning....

From what I understand, social club and september members will get the best seats from the allocation for the Geelong Football club??? OR will they mix ppl up everywhere, which means normal memebrs might get front row and a social club member might get the back row,..... anyone know any info on that.... Cheers..

we were not asked if we wanted prime or premium tickets, maybe we wont get a choice, does anyone know?
They are allocated first drawn first served.

So if theres 500 premium left the first 500 people drawn get premium and have to pay the approx $200.

Then they draw the Next level, and so on until the standing room.

So if you only have $130 and want a standing room ticket you are taking what you are given.

Its not whether you rang early its whether you are drawn early. Time of call makes no difference to seating priority.

Page 3 of the pdf:
"It does not matter what time you register within your allocated time frame. All registrations will be randomised, so that all members
have equal opportunity to obtain a Grand Final ticket. There is no need to panic if you are not able to get through when you first call."

errrr this doesn't answer my question

do social club and september members that registered bewtween 8 and 11 get the best seats fromn the geelong allocation???

No arrogance here intended, but i think they should, they pay the most during the year, they deserve the best seats from the allocation.... my opinion anyway

It sounds like it Purring. As was mentioned, Premium are allocated first until they are exhausted then the standard, then the standing room.

Given that Social Club and September member go first, they will have first go at the premium.

Now thar rego is over. At what time did peoplle register? How many tickts got sold? I had a mate ring up at 5 and i called around 7 and 10 mins after that for another group. Between the times we registered about 700 people had applied at probably maybe an average of 3 people per ticket.

So how many members took the opportunity up? Can we work it out? Is anyone who booked early able to tell us what their receipt number is roughly. Then someone who booked late could tell us also.

Does anyone know, or is there anyway to find out home many registrations (both membership numbers and unique registrations) there were yesterday?
That's a very good question CC75. No idea myself..

But yeah, surely there would have been some people that forgot to register, can't go to the GF, etc etc. Would be good to know exact numbers.

why would you idiot geelong supporters be making such stupid early assumptions that you will be in the grand final?
because if us idiot geelong supporters dont register this week we are ineligible for GF ticket allocation to members, if we get in.
read the thread title - or have someone read it to you, you dislexic clown. Maybe instead of going for Jud you could use that money and have a members day and get some teachers down there to instruct you in English.......

Why did the idiot geelong fan ask 2 posts after my answer how do we know amount of registrations? Well someone who booked at 12 can tell us their receipt number and someone who booked late can tell us their receipt.

I know there was about 700 registrations between 5pm and 7pm. Pob at an average of 2.5 tickets a booking so thats 1800 seats.

There would have been a heap of regos early though, as stupid geelong people are so stupid they think gettin in early makes a difference :p:eek:

Surely Juddy blue blue was takin the piss aswell

Why should the receipt numbers necessarily be in any order?
