I know quiet a few Bulldog fans who will not go... They have bought tickets as well! They will try and sell them, if not it'll be an empty seat:mad:

I don't understand that mind set..

The raiders didn't make it but I'll not miss this game for anything.. it's the grand final FFS.

They should give them away rather than just not turn up.

Agreed... It's disappointing.

St.George always choke and I was very confident of a Brisbane victory. Looks like the fans were overconfident.
Or maybe they were just smart enough to buy ahead so that they weren't left stranded if they made it.

Would hope that Dragons and Bulldogs fans wanting to offload tickets will do so at cost price, rather than trying to profit from them or waste them.

15,000 tickets were saved for the supporters of the teams playing in the GF. I buy tickets at the start of the year, every year. Just to ensure I don't miss out if Penrith make it but I still love the GF even if they aren't playing. GF day is there with ANZAC Day and Melbourne Cup Day as my favourite days of the year

My philosophy re GF days is that I like to see hardcore fans from the clubs involved get tickets to the game first and foremost.

When big clubs like the Dragons or the Bullodgs are involved it is obviously harder to accommodate people, but with Melbourne & Brisbane playing I will be disappointed if I hear of week-in and week-out game goers being denied tickets.

I fear that a lot of tickets will be swamped by in-the-moment Melbourne bandwagon fans going to their first game live.

I agree with your philosophy. Its much better to have 70,000 supporters of the participating teams and 10,000 neutrals rather then the other way around.

As soon as the 80mins were up last saturday we had a couple of Dragons supporters come down to the Storm section trying to sell tickets.

I dont trust 'em.

They guy annoys the **** out of Ray Warren. Have you heard Rabs giving it to him from the Commentary Box? Its rather funny that he gets so uptight about it. :D

Hahaha he was a champion bloke though. It's funny, the Melbourne Storm cheersquad have some sort of song involving a 'magic hat' that they chant.

I wonder what the words are. :thumbsu:

It was just so great to see the boys come up to us and cheer with us after. Matty King especially, what a champ!

Something along the lines of:

Cameron Smith is magic, he wears a magic hat
And when he saw Olympic Park, he said I'll have a piece of that

Not sure how the rest goes, I'm too busy watching Smithy kick by then!
