I went to bed 11.30pm on a Sunday night, and there was still 30 minutes to play.

Maybe they wanted to make sure I could see the Roosters win without having to get up a completely ungodly hour.


The later the better I say.

If you went to bed with 30 mins to go you couldn't have been too bothered about the result.

I like an arvo grand final. Combination of several reasons... too late afterwards to do anything, I like the image of the victory lap in fading sunlight.

No hassles either way really, just a slight preference for afternoon (either day of the weekend)

Still prefer Sunday afternoon. With the AFL GF on Saturday and NRL the following day, it used to make for a fun and full weekend. (And I generally was pretty full after it all )

Brett Li, how about a fair and equitable swap? get them to start the ashes test matches 4 hours earlier so I don't go into work zombie-like every four years

I like it the way it is now, whereas a few years ago, did like the Sunday afternoon game.

Night grandfinals add that atmosphere that's a real winner and no doubt, the afl will follow suit soon...starting with a twlight g/f soon as a warming up exercise first

surprise surprise.... count on ms storm, it wouldnt surprise me if she worked for the NRL... can they do no wrong?? lol
