It's actually the MCC members just below us, as is the MCC dining room. So if we get there early and jump up and down lots, we may just put them off their crustless cucumber sandwiches and tea and scones (rhymes with "moans") for a few minutes.

I wonder if they realise it's a mistake putting 5,000 feral port supporters on the level directly above 5,000 old gents in their suits and ties?? Well, if they don't now then they certainly will by about 3pm on Saturday!

I've just picked up my ticket from the PO, and it's in Q21, which should give my acrophobia a good workout. But it's very nearly mid-wing, so the view should be sensational.

According to this thread on the Lions board they seem to be behind the goals at the city end on the lowest level, and up in ~Q14 section, somewhere around there, though of course they could be spread out even further than that..

A couple of observations:

• Thank God we have an orderly phone booking system, some of the stories on that thread about lining up for tickets are horrendous!
• I was worried before about having Port supporters on the level above MCC members, but now I find out that we are 2 levels above the bulk of the Lions supporters - anybody see trouble here? Can anyone in the MCC members reserve say "collatoral damage"?

I am an AFL Richmond Member and i have level 1 seats for this great game. I like many Hate Brisbane and are sick to death of seeing Brisbane win the final every year. I hope Port Adelaide win and win well then maybe just maybe this will shut them up once and for all. Just wondering if anyone could let me have for the day a port adelaide scrafe and I will give it back after the game so i can shove it up the afl and the Brisbane Fans. All the best Port.

Pred, I have some understanding of how you feel because I couldn't get to Wales for Birmingham City's Playoff Final in 02 which is a bit of a similar situation to yours. Rest assured though I will scream my lungs out twice as hard on Saturday on behalf of you and every other Port fan overseas this weekend. You wont be there but trust me, you'll have no shortage of people there giving them a shout for you.
