Now it's just the nervous wait for the ticket to arrive! I think tomorrow I'll be ringing home about every 15mins going 'is it there yet?'
Gets! said:Yes!!!! I also got two standing room tickets this morning!!!
Took about 150 times to call before I got through and well i can't believe I am going.
$110 for the ticket, $80 for the return bus fare free accomodation with cousins and well....can't ********ing wait.

Due to being self-employed, the extra cost of not being able to work, plus the inconvenience to my customers, makes any option other than a plane (or some fancy star trek type stuff) just not an option.
I'd love to throw the swag in the back of the hilux and mosey on down at 100kph.

We're in the Heavens. Right up the top of the New Northern Stand to be exact. Good place to sit to watch the new premiers hopefully.Bresh said:Can't you sell your car...
Anyway, myself and sog35 are in section Q31, row S. NFI where that is, will check that map just now.

Wicked, we're in a construction site.Porthos said:Here's the MCG seating plan.
I'm a bit ********ed off to be behind the goals, but I see the AFL & MCC members that aren't supporting either side have all the prime wing space. Great.

There is a more update-to-date version floating round.
Do you know where you're sitting Porthos?
It'll be great if I can see them do the lap of honour through all the flags that will undoubtedly regularly obscure my view during the course of the day.Eddie Woloschek said:Long after the cheering stops, and the bands stop playing, there'll be no memory of appalling seating arrangements, just the untainted recollection of our boys doing their lap of honour, high fiving to their hearts content.

All that matters is that I'm there surrounded by Teal.
I would sit behind a wall of 1000 flags just to be at the ground.Porthos said:It'll be great if I can see them do the lap of honour through all the flags that will undoubtedly regularly obscure my view during the course of the day.
I don't mind seeing masses of flags behind goal when I'm sitting on the wing. I don't relish being stuck behind them.
