I get the feeling crows_4_life is a bit upset about something.

I'm sure this guy doesn't represent the majority of Crows supporters however, most i've met have been quite nice.

I agree, as much as I dislike the crows I know a few of their fans and they are great people. But when a supporter of theres has a go at the West Coast Football Club or our state dont just expect most of us to stay silent.

damn straight i was pissed off, not saying all eagles fans are arrogant but quite alot are, every club has them, i give credit where its due, but i took offence to the earlier comment made wizeagles, as you would have done.

sat next to one knobhed wce fan and one who knew a good mark/goal for the oppositon, and didnt see it with blinkers on.

to be honest we should have won from the postion we where in but then you could say wce should have by 7-8 goals if they had kicked more accurate, footy is a game of luck and skill and wce had more on thier side yesterday (eg. cousins).... see credit where its due.:D

FWIW I would have been barracking for Adelaide had you guys beaten us. At the GF last year it was sickening how the Melbournians had jumped back onto "South Melbourne", suddenly claiming them as their own again. Knowing full well, of course, that they haven't cared in the slightest for them for the last 20 years or so. "Two cities, One team" read the banner they ran through. Excuse me whilst I go vomit.

yer i know agree, cant remember didnt they claim brisbane lions as fitzroy in 2001 - 2004??
any trophies they can claim they will, let them have their NAB Cups :D:D

So, who's everyone going for this weekend?

I'm not sure, I mean the Eagles have knocked us out the last 2 years and have the most arrogant supporters around that don't really deserve it, but the players really do deserve it for the most part.
Then there's Sydney, last year was sweet but the last 2 years theyve managed to avoid us in the finals and they seem to be the only team that we seem to have the wood on. So if they won again I know I'd be thinking 'dammit we can beat them!'.

I'm still undecided.

Tell me who you're going for and plead your case :thumbsu:

Re: So, who's everyone going for this weekend?

I'm Going for West Coast, even though alot of their supporters are arrogant they still deserve it more than Sydney.

Apparently I was reading somewhere today that the Sydney Swans have had a piss easy draw, which is odd as i thought the Premier was meant to get the hardest draw. They have only play one of the other top 8 sides Twice (Melbourne).

Other Top 8 Sides

WC - Subi
AD - SCG
FR - SCG
COLL - TS
STK - SCG
WB - SCG

I think West Coast will win easily too, by 67 Points.

Judd to win another Norm Smith with 32 Possesions and 5 Goals.

Wait, another? Judd didn't win it last year did he? I thought it was Paul Williams or someone.

Just on that if the people who voted on the Norm Smith actually had a clue and didnt go by reputation of the player Nick Fosdike should have won it. Got a stack of clearances for Sydney that day.

Re: So, who's everyone going for this weekend?

Can't say I really care.

On the one hand, West Coast (and their supporters) are incredibly arrogant and it would be really nice to see them lose.

On the other hand, I'd rather spend the afternoon watching concrete set than watch Sydney play. Seriously, Roos should be banned from coaching, charged with "bringing the game into disrepute".

Sydney don't deserve to be playing in the GF, so I think I'll have to hope the Weagles get over the line (though I don't think they have a chance).

Re: So, who's everyone going for this weekend?

Agreed on Fosdike

Judd 2nd

Lrt 3rd

would've been mine.

Re: So, who's everyone going for this weekend?

I want Sydney to be leading by 2 points, then the final siren will go just as Ben Cousins marks it in their forward 50. He has a shot to put them in front and win the grand final after the siren, but he misses and they lose by a point :) But that won't happen...so anyway Sydney for me :thumbsu:

Now that adelaide is out I will be a swans supporter for a week. I was in perth last year for the GF and want the same reaction again. Pubs full of blue and yellow getting boozed up only to have to cry themselves to sleep that night. Last year the news footage was hillarious with all the tears and talk of next year.
Suck it, hater :D

I know what you mean. Not nearly as much of that this year though as the Herald Sun had Melbourne's "own" Storm to get behind.
I'm rapt the Eagles won. My wife's a WC supporter and makes for a very happy household :D (we even have a WEG poster in the window already). Besides that I also like the way they play footy. I thought karma came back in spades to a certain Swan's player yesterday who no matter what anyone says or attempts to justify should never have played in last years GF.
