Downloaded SA from the PSN store. So worth the $10 or whatever it was. Absolutely addicted to it again.
Pulling my hair out at wrong side of the tracks again... Its not my fault you can't shoot!!!! I was right by the train the whole way and didnt even stack but you couldn't kill them! Haha.

SA is still the best in the series, but I think V will trump it

There is no debate.

VC was the best ever.
Bang on.

Vice had those little touches, how the guns sounded amazing and the cities felt so vibrant. San Fierro in SA felt hollow and empty compared to Los Santos and Las Venturas but Vice City felt so much more alive than all 3 with the clubs and beaches and Starfish Island, just everything!

Still Los Santos of GTA V will blow everything out of the water!

Im 24 now, but i'm a huge 80's (read: real music) fan.
I am 31, the game was perfect - storyline, location setting, music, perfect mission structure. Difficulty off the charts.

San Andreas didn't have the same magic, the storyline was predictable, after the storyline was finished i didn't have the same motivation to do rampages and other random stuff like see how long i can outrun the police for. I loved the game physics, there is something amusing about driving off the side of a mountain, rolling down the hill, finishing the roll with landing on 4 wheels AND being able to drive off :D :thumbsu:. I did this in one of the missions where you were being chased, i took a shortcut assuming i would fail and have to redo it. But i was still able to drive away and have a bigger lead against the mob chasing me.

San Andreas was very easy in comparison, i clocked it within a week. It took nearly 5 months to finish Vice City.

I thought San Andreas had the better map and content, but Vice City had better music and a much better story.
Say what? San Andreas soundtrack is beyond amazing. Playback FM, Radio Los Santos, K-Rose, K-DST list goes on. San Andreas would have to be the main reason I'm such a big fan of rap/hip-hop. But its all subjective and both games are easily in my top 5 or so of all time, I rate San Andreas a bit higher.

Vice City's soundtrack is flawless.

LOL, judging the game on the soundtrack.
Although the soundtrack isn't the be all and end all, it is still very important. Especially in a GTA game which is trying to set itself in a certain time period. Driving across the country side with Catalina with All My Ex's Live In Texas is pretty much ingrained in my brain because of that song. Same with rolling through Grove St. territory doing absolutely nothing, but cruising listening to Nuthin But a G Thang. For me if it wasn't for the soundtrack I wouldn't remember half the shit I did in San Andreas.
