I was watching Rich v Dees and the commentators wouldnt shut up about how good Richo is, I dont doubt he is a good player but even when he did something "wrong" they praised his efforts, But when Grant plays he is far more scrutinised by the commmentators, on in particular. I just want ur thoughts on why Granty copes so much from the media & commentators and why richo gets of relatively easy (apart from this week).

Yes, Granty does cop it a bit - but I have never seen him handle this any less than graciously. He is a champion on and off the field. We are lucky to have such a fantastic role model at the club.

Interesting to hear Richo being talked up by Wilson and Walls on Talking Footy. Yeah, he's just a big, lovable bloke. It took me half an hour to remove my finger from my throat. Couldn't really see Granty giving the finger to the crowd, could you?? Or shouting abuse at his team-mates?

You know what I reckon? If you can't beat em, join em. Let's stack the media with ex-Bulldog players, coaches, coterie group members, bootstudders...Maybe then the club will get a decent hearing, and Grant will stop having to prove himself every game.

Oh my goodness - 'Granty just missed a goal', I guess he isn't really a champion.'

Next week, 'Grant really did lead the way in that third quarter. He is really proving himself to be a champion.

Following week, 'Gee, Grant didn't make the distance from 55 - champions don't do that.'
