Firstly, comiserations to the Doggies. This is ****ty news.
However it need not be a total disaster for the club.
The shinboners lost Carey and at a time when we were short of cash (When aren't we?)
The result was not the end of the world as we know it as most of the experts predicted but a gutsy, hard fought season which brought many great players out of the shadow of the "King".
It seems that what doesn't kill you does make you stronger.
Go for it Doggies. You can ride this out and be better for it.
At least you might get CG back .

thanks for the note of encouragement. most of us here have plenty of respect for the Roos as well.

I reckon we'll be ok and I'm sure the players will bond together. I thought there was a lot to like about the way we played against the Cats and there is still room for improvement.

We have won games without Chris before but obviously not on a long term basis so it will be interesting to see how the rest of the team copes without him for the rest of the season. I predict that they will show what they are made of when they don't have Chris to do the hard stuff. Sometimes I think that some other players rely on him a bit too much when they could be doing that bit extra themselves.

Thanks for your best wishes,
Firstly Grant will be back because he is fit and mentally tough.
You guys losing Carey (and Pagan) was a blessing in disguise because eventually those guys would have gone so you have adjusted your game plan accordingly.
If we can get Croft back and one more young tall to step up we will be OK.

Thanks for that.I think this will be good for the club, cause it will make the players not rely on granty, and make them put that little bit more in.

Do u think just maybe saying our best player of the last 10 years stuffing his knee completely is good is perhaps a wee bit too far.

No, i didnt mean it like that, i just mean it could end up being a positive for us. His injury may just open up a door for skip. Dont get me wrong no one can take granty spot but i just think it could be a positive for us.
