Great Bigfooty Dust-ups!

I was wondering which Bigfooty rivalry or argument between users of Bigfooty, has been the greatest?

Lately the Mags vs. Eastaugh has been a big one as well as Dan24 vs. ptw/ Port Adelaide 1860/ Joffa etc and most recently homework_boy vs. virtually everyone.

I remember when I first started logging on to Bigfooty, there was a bit of an ongoing blue between Rooboy and a nunregistered guy called Derek.

Which one has been your favourite or most memorable dust-up or rivalry between Bigfooty users.

I believe in everything I wrote. I set myself up as a target knowingly as the alter views are those that are propounded daily in every public school in Australia. I do believe I was mentioned as often as you, and it is of absolutely no consequence to me.

Obvioulsy you felt compelled to bring your own little personal "dust-ups" to light, which says something about you as a person.

But please don't think for a minute I am bagging you, but obvioulsy you want some recognition for your stellar performances in riling people.

Really sweetie, you are just no good at it and are way too temperamental to carry on a long term, reasonable fued.

But I respect that you have many friends here, and would like to congratulate you on that wonderful achievement, and support your claim that the fureds you mentioned should in fact be included on some of these lists sweetheart.

The recent Victoria versus Australia "debate" has been a ball-tearer (to use a famous quote from a former SA football commentator ... "famous" only in SA, I might add). And I think it's been amazing how this little stoush has got me back in touch with my South Australian roots and made me realise that the small-minded parochialism that I tend to attribute to South Australians is every bit as applicable to Victorians ... possibly even more so.

Very educational, I think.

Most of my old rivalries seem to have fizzled out. I really couldn't stay mad at JubJub over that Millane joke forever. Life's just too short ...

I think JubJub's sense of humour is a bit of an acquired taste. And any Collingwood supporter who can't take a bit of a dig now and then is probably not going to last long. In any case, JubJub's humour is certainly not as vicious as someone else I could mention.

As for that "someone else", the Glenelg-supporting homophobe, I've wiped him. I don't talk to the little turd any more. Nor do I bother with the trampler of the weak and hurdler of the dead. These people are just not worth the grief.

Someone mentioned Frodo and myself.

Well, I can officially declare that rivalry over too. Because Frodo is another one the "untouchables" as far as I'm concerned. I think I'll just let people like Frodo rot in their own private hell.

And don't worry, Sandie. I haven't forgotten you. I'm just feeling a bit rejected, that's all. Like all Collingwood supporters, I'm very sensitive.

I think the Mags V Eastaugh rivalry has been an interesting one to watch. I've been very proud of the way Mags has matured as this stoush has gone on. You've got Eastaugh continuing to churn out the same old hysterical drivel but Mags is just keeping it together (most of the time, anyway) and making damn good sense in what he says. Well done, Mags. You're a credit to The Club.

Frodo speak your mind for goodness sake, but im positive some of the stuff you wrote was just to get a reaction, and a reaction you got, you as you rightly point out have every right to articulate an alternate view, others have every right to be angered by them when your generalisations include them.

mmm...so because you didn't go to public school a generalisation does not hold true!!!

A generalisation means that something occurs a considerable amount of the time, NOT all the time. Something that happens say 60% of the time may be considered to happen generally.
And because brainwashing occurs generally in public schools that fact in no way precludes it to happening in other forms of education.

Think before you retaliate aggressively.

You see Frodo - there is the difference between you and me..... I am thinking.....in the scope of the 'big picture', in the way the whole world works....not in the way that YOU would like it to work.....

Now you are saying that 60% could be a generalisation - but your last attempt, was by using an example with the figure 99%.

You can't have it all your way Frodo - it is never going to happen.

Said the government shouldn't be supporting children, so I suggest you add up all the child endownment your family received for your 2 sons and send a reimbursement to the government for that amount, oh yeah and pop in the book allowances and tax rebates as well.

And then now changing your tune....trying to defend your comments as a percentage boost to include private schools along with your original dig at the public school system and their 'propaganda' and also by insinuation that because I went to private school, doesn't mean I am not sprouting the 'brainwashing' you claim happens.


If that is how you feel, get a copy of the syllabis, under freedom of information get copies of teachers class notes....take it all the way....and you will still find that you are wrong.

I've had a verbal stous with just about everyone.

During the mid-part of 2000, Rooboy and I, had a big fisticuffs. Sparks were flying there. I won, of course.

I sparred a bit with ODN's, but that was mainly becasue I was looking for a Blues fan to argue against. Once again, I won

I've had the usual stoushes with G4E, but who hasn't?

Westy Boy and I have got stuck into each other on a few occasions. He's normaly pretty good, but when he wants to insult you, boy can he do it with the best of them !

I had a fight with TT, because he would say crap like "Essenond have no character". This was after we won the premiership. So, I had to put him in his place.

Then, there is the interesting case of Dan24 vs Shinboners. We got along well, until I called his little club meaningless. He has never realy been the same. He is now, a little prick. I've scarred him for life. I don't think he will ever be the same again, poor guy.

Back, in the old Bomber Talk days, me and Dutchman, used to get stuck into each other an awful lot. It got kinda nasty at times.

PA1870 and I have had HUGE differences. This is manily due to the fact that what he posts is utter shit. The guy is so biased towards S.A, it is unbelievable. So, I had to put him in his place too

Frodo and I have had similar scuffles, becasue of his annoying W.SA bias.

PTW and I have also had our problems.

Latley, Dan24 v Crows OK has cropped up, due to the ridiculous notion, that the Crows are a successful side, despite winning less than half their games.

I've also had fights with Bee (but she loved it, and now we've made up)

Oh, and how could I forget Joffa. If meaningless insults are your games, then see Joffa. A great supporter, but cleary lacking a few brain cells. I'v also had a figth lately with AlfAndrews, but that's been pretty subdued, compared to the others.

The shining light has beer RichmondFan#1. I have always got along well with her, and thought she was a great posster for a youngster.

There have been some real idiots on these boards from time to time, that just don't understad logic and common-sense. People that post things that are unlogical and un-common-sensical, really irritate me greatly.
