Great Cover Versions.

Most cover versions suck. A couple that are huge improvements on the originals are:

Damien Lovelock's cover of Disco Inferno. Takes disco and makes it into a killer rock track. Burn,Baby Burn! Burn Your Mother Down!

Hindu Love God's version of Princes' Raspberry Beret. Warren Zevon with REM (minus Michael Stipe).

Any others?

Another big yes , don`t think all that many people know about it . Got the video on tape from one old rage episodes from the late 80`s .

Metallica - Stone cold crazy .

They ripped that song a new ar.sehole .....magnificent

Rollins and the Hards Ons doing "Let there be rock" is right up there as well

Red Red Wine - I know Neil Diamond did a version - not sure if it was the original.
